rune transmuting

I just wanted to get lots of opinions on what runes should you never upgrade to the next rune.

i am assuming that if you had two chams you wouldn't upgrade them to a zod. you would trade them or something.

also probably not ral or tal because of crafting but tell me if i am wrong.

i would love to see a long list from multiple people of what not to upgrade.

Any runes above Gul should be kept as is as they are very rare and mostly dupped...but if you need the one step high, go for it.

two ists are worth more than a gul, so keep them as ists
Pul, lem, um, mal, ist, vex, ber, jah, cham and zod are the more popular runes for trading.

so in your opinion holding on to 40 ral runes wouldn't be good and cube them to ort then those to thul and thul to amn

i have seven shael currently, i am thinking of using one in my demon limb to hit faster.

tell me if that is a bad idea.

please i need many more opinions to all out there

Any rune under pul is easy to find and worth nothing, with those you should do what you want with em.....only concentrate on keeping the ones I listed above for value purposes. Rals and Orts are ok for repairing items....and certain people will pay for bulk rals and orts.....but for the most part, trial and error is great. Don't worry about missing out on anything.

shaels r lower runes and r worth only a few pgems each.

dont socket ur demon limb with a shael b/c
1. that would be wasting one of ur socket quests and u should save those for ur final gear
2. demon limb sucks unless u use it as a secondary weapon for its enchant charges
