There are two main schools with Kicksins. One is the high FCR Enigma build that relies first and foremost on speed.

The other is a Bramble build that gives tons of damage, and works better when you know that your enemies can be caught (eg. Clan Honor where Teleport is outlawed).

Past that, there is a fair bit of dispute for what to use as charms, weapons, belts, gloves, boots, helm, amulets, rings, ... well, you get the picture. There are also a few hybrids, such as a WW/kick, and kick/trap (fire or lightning variants).

personally, i believe bramble is much superior to enigma when it comes to being a pure kicker. dragon talon is good enough to get you where you want to be.

You mean DF, not talon. And actually that's only true vs. casters that are POOR teleporters. A good teleporting caster played with skill and decent equipment will dominate a kicker with only DF. DF is buggy and often misfires. It can be interupted easily. Teleport allows you to stay right on top of the caster. DF reliance means they always have to be on your screen AND that you have to be able to click them AND the DF will work. Tele is better, at vs. casters.

Despite the DF bug's you can use it with succes against fast tele chars. MB can can interrupt tele, or you you can make a trap field with WoF.

MB by itself will never catch you a good teleporter with decent fast cast. WoF+MB is, as you bring up, is the only way to do it. But if you are catching them with WoF+MB, why do you need DF? Why not tele from enigma and take advantage of the greater mobility it affords you? When you RUN, your claw block drops to crap or next to crap. When you tele it's ALWAYS at max because you are technically standing still. If you have to chase a necro shooting teeth or spears, the best way to do so by far is via teleport, not running and DF.

I use MB with 70 % FCR, and when I hit a sorc or nec, they will be immobile for a short moment, and then I use DF and kick the crab out of them. No problemo

I agree that Enigma is a great armor, but a skilled kicker with decent gear can cope without.

Not that easy at all. Only way to stop they is MB+WoW, for such thing to happen they have to tele in the traps area and you be fast enough to MB them. Many casters stand out of screen, so this is not that easy to do. Enigma helps a lot, but true you can do well without. Btw, can you list you gear, im interested in how u get 70% fcr

yea my bad, dragon flight is fine. the fact of the matter is that 65% fcr is too poor to compete with any good teleporter. dragon flight if used right, is very good and i have never had trouble with it, even against my friends godly orber who teleports like hell.

My gear is nothing special, but it works ok:

Shako(Um)
Duress
Verdungo/Thundergod’s
Mara/Angelic
Dual raven/Angelic/Whisp etc
Bartuc/Jade and Wizard spike(Um) or Fleshripper(shael)/Storm
Shadow dancer
Trang gloves/Dracul’s

If the caster plays defensive, I use Blade Fury to force them to move.
It’s my experience that MB is devastating against all chars with bad FHR, especially a high level MB (My is lvl 24).
I think it's easy to hit with MB, especially if you have a decent FCR.

Generally it’s easy to lure your enemy into your trap field, because WoF is almost invincible compared to LS traps.

I've never hard problems catching a good teleporters with DF. You can keep up with them on foot fairly well and while you can catch them while they teleport, they have to pause to attack and that is what you try to anticipate. They can't kill you by teleporting!!

The really hard part is actually hitting a hammerding with decent defense or a heavily minion stacked windy.

When you run, your claw block drops to crap. Thereby making you much much more vulnerable than if you were teleporting with 60% CB up at all times.

You only need 65 to hit the breakpoint.

You can go trangs gloves + arachnid + that unique 25 fc diadem
OR, trangs + arachnid + fc ammy + fc ring
OR, trangs + arachnid + .08 valk
OR, trangs + arachnid + 20 fc circlet + fc ring
OR, trangs + .08 valk + fc ammy
OR. trangs + 25 fc diadem + ammy
