Lidless has horrible block %. If you are dueling alot of melee / bow zons, block & higher % damage reduce are best. If you are dueling other casters mostly, or are leveling, use lidless.

I personally think a CoA + ss would be the best set up. NEVER use CoA w/o ss, the +str. required to use it would be insane even w/ enigma.

CoA/ss>>>>>shako/lidless. Seems kind of a waste to use a good coa on a windy when shako is just as good, but if you're that rich go for it :)

stormshield/shako/enigma = max damage reduced, so you can still use arachnid.

A little [OT]... How important is block on a PvM windy druid?? People always laugh at me wheni say that i dont have any block, but my druid is doing very fine (he is mainly for boosting/diarunning people)..
Here is the gear setup:

Weapon: Wizspike (Hel)
Armor: Enigma Breast Plate
Shield: Stormshield (Hel, gonna Um it)
Helm: Shako(Um) / Jalal's(Shael) / Nightwing's(cold facet) (depends on what i am doing)
Amulet: Mara's 24%
Ring: SoJ
Ring: 10% fcr / +53 mana / +11 Energy / 18 Cold Res / 13 Fire Res
Boots: Waterwalk (got 45 base dex, so need them)
Gloves: Magefist
Belt: Arachnid Mesh
Charms: 7*Elemental Skillers, and some res and life sc's..

This offers me: 75 All Res (80 fire), 100% fcr (bp is at 99% iirc), level 37 Elemental Skills...

Now a couple of questions:
#How much will block help me, and it is a must?? (I currently have 2,8k life with shako, without cta, we can't all be rich :uhhuh: )
#Would it be worth it to get another cast ring and hoto?? that would grant me +2 skills..
#Is maxed Res important with Cyclone Armor??

I also have a merc using Tomb Reaver.. How much would an etheral Reaper's Toll cost med at europe SC-NL?? (Know its not the right forum, but Trade Value forum is mainly a bunch of zombies  )

Guess that it.. Hope you can help me out

1.Block is only neccessary for pvp really. It just helps in pvm, but isn't required.

2.It would if you have enough res to be fine without wiz.

3.yes. Very important. You don't want to die in .001 seconds when souls burn off your armor.

4. You don't need eth reapers,a normal one will do fine. He doesn't really have to kill anything himself, he just has to decrep stuff for you. Great tank as well.

5. Have fun :)

Shako/Lidless, not very effective in terms of blocking.
CoA/SS, very effective in terms of block, damage reduce, resist, and FHR

My build uses shael' Jahals/SS. Reason being is that im only 7 off perfect damage reduce. I dont see the point of overkill DR. Jahals is more preferable by my standards because it offers: 50 FHR, 30 Resist, +20str, +20ngy, +2 Druid Skills, +2 Sum. Skills. While a CoA offers +1skill, 30FHR, xxDR, 2 sockets.
