im just wondering if anyone plays melee pala ....

i dont wont to be offensive ;) but all those hammers ... smiters ... etc bla bla they are just runners or do not thinking chars

where is the strategy ? where is the plan how to fight and win ?
melee duel face to face with shield in ur hand or without but face to face somehow if u want to run ok run but finally stand in front of me and fight

life tap .... slow .... HF and other crap where are duelers with 1.09 manners ?

i just want to play melee no matter dru bar jabbazon pala or anything else where i can find them ?

And zealots just plainly suck vs all the smiters running around these days (n/o i think zealots are great)

smite = melee thats right but u need to agree with me that smite in 1.10 is ehmmmm weird kind of melee .... holdclick than i see how you try to hit me .... nonsence
smite in 1.09 was great against druids etc but only as prehit for zeal

im asking does anyone know where melee duelers are ? come on dont tell me that all of u play range chars

wel iirc zeal is also just hold and click and just wait to see who has the best chance to trigger life tap or amplify dmg :cheesy:

Generally casters are superior to zealots in 1.10...
I mean come on, can a zealot beat hammerdins, fohers, pnb necs, blizz sorcs, etc. consecutively provided no absorb / same skills / similar item price / no lags?
What do you mean by 'where' the melee chars duel? I think there are similar amount of each type of chars in every realm.

P.S. No offense to zealots out there, but I laugh when I see all those games w/ titles of 'zeal duel only'.

:D Like Hardcore_Virus said, if a zealot goes vs. zealot it really depends on who gets lifetap / amp first, provided they are similar in wealth and skills.

EDIT = Btw, I only listed cookie cutter builds above because most of the cookie cutter builds are casters, and zealots aren't exactly cookie cutters are they?

hehe :) i do understand you , in ur opinion zealot = holdclick duel ~~ u dont even know how much you are wrong yes of course it can goes this way as well but ... if ppl play zealots for long time and if they play melee duels trust me they dont play holdclick duels.
thats why i asked 'coz casters are ... i simply dont like casters ~~

btw life tap amp and other crap .... thats bm as well

beeing pure zealot or power zealot or any other zealot i use "clean" stuff with no such skills chance to casts or whatever on it

playing melee is simply what i like and dont get me wrong just asked

i know whats going on on open games thats why i asked ....

:D I know what you mean... a clean simple duel between clean 2 melee chars...

That can be pretty fun actually if you get tired of blasting 40k lightnings or 5k spears in ppls' faces which is quite a lot of times... :rant:

Ok, this is nuts, how can there be such a huge difference between Xpac and non-Xpac zealers? Non-Xpac zealers are awesome duelers and can easily hold their ground against sorcs and necros (assuming the necro doesn't just bone wall himself...). In fact, the only problem I'v ever encountered was a smiter or a smart ww barb. Maybe there's something I'm missing... I dunno.

and smite duells arent just hold and click either,if you have a smiter vs smiter duell for excample the way you charge the first time is VERY important. It's very important to keep low fhr (well i experience it that way , no need to reply on that) But if you charge badly the first time you might as well give up.
