PvP Bowazon Guide V.1.0

Hi everyone, people on d2 know me as darkdreamerx or PvP-Luna. I'm making an attempt to make a descriptive guide regarding PvP Bowazons.

All other guides on this board regarding this particular class seem to be very poorly made and the only one a person hoping to make a PvP Bowazon can draw atleast the smallest bit of help from is luis19 whom I thank for inspiring me to write this.

Lets get started here...


Stat Point Distribution: Without Equipment (Based on Lv 80 statistics with stat quests completed)

Strength: 124 [or enough to get strength bug on wf with anni]\
Dexerity: 230 [Some people may be going :surprise: right now but with equip this gets seksi]
Vitality: 136 With this your health will end up to be 556 so remember this.
Energy: Mana Leech, this explains itself. NO POINTS!!


Skill Point Distribution:

20 Guided Arrow
20- Multiple Shot
14 Dodge
14 Evade
14 Avoid
10+ Critical Strike (Your Choice)
2 Pre-requisites (Frozen Arrow and Poison Javelin)
1+ Jab
1 Lightning Bolt
X into Penetrate

Total: 94+ points

Multiple Shot is optional, but I say to at the very least have 10 points in it for killing pesky sorcs who are teleporting around you in a mad frenzy. Lightning Bolt and Jab for killing other bowazons who are causing trouble or low resistance characters with massive defense/block who will be taken out with lightning bolt(unblockable).

You might be asking WHY 14 points in dodge! After a couple hours of looking throught alot of information regarding amazons, I was able to conclude that after LV 14 theres a 3% difference from a lv 14 and a lv 20 skill if you use +2 Magic and Passive Crafted Gloves ie. Gale Grasp. Making your dodge lv 16 compared to a lv 22 the difference is only 3-4%, NEARLY NEGLIBIBLE, and your saving 6 points!

Equipment

Ah yes the icing on top of the cake, possibly the most important aspect in the world of PvP. The equipment..

Starting from 1 being the best to X being the worst.

Head:

1. 3 Socket Helm with 3 40/15s
2. Shako Socketed with 40/15
3. Valkyrie Wing (possibly from .08) Socketed with 40/15
4. M'avinas

Body:
1. 4 Socket Armour with 4 40/15s (preferably archon plate/dusk shroud with WHALE suffix/prefix)
2. Chains of Honor
3. Enigma
4. M'avinas

Weapon:

1. Windforce Hydra Bow (Socket with 40/15)
2. Some insanely good rare bow (Good +% ED, Poison mods?, +Dex, +max d.)
3. BotD in a hydra bow
4. Buriza-do Canyon
5. M'avinas

Belt:

1. Verdungos Hearty Chord (+Vit, +FHR%, etc)
2. Siggards Stealth (Slows target down 10%, 10% IAS)
3. Thundergods (+Str and +Vit)
4. Razortail/M'avinas

Jewelry

1. Cats Eye Amulet/Highlords
2. Crescent Moon

1. Raven Frost Rings x2 (+AR, +Dex, +Mana, Cannot be Frozen)
2. Rare rings with res +stats/dual leech

Gloves:

1. Gale Grasp- Crafted Gloves (+2 Passive and magic, 20% IAS etc.)
2. Draculs Grasp (Life Tap, OW, +Str, Life Leech)
3. Lava Gout (20% IAS)
4. M'avinas


Boots:

1. Goreriders/Sandstorm Trek (GRs= OW, DS, CB [][] STs= +vit, +str, +FHR%)
2. War Travs (+ Max damage, 10 str and dex)
3. Water Walks (+Life, +Dex)

Stats After Equip (in consideration the best of all of it is used)

some notes :
1) what charms should that be using?
2) botd in hydra bow has higher reqs but same avg dmg as crusader bow so you could put more in dex/vit if using botd crusader
3) why do u tell what stats to get? if u change gear a bit you could need less str
4) point of a good guide is to explain why to use that sort of equip, u hardly explain anything

Obviously you didnt read my last phrase, this is the first version of the guide and I typed it up during my Tech class VERY fast and did not have the resources to make it more detailed. Please keep such rude comments to yourself especially when they are coming from a person who has such little signifigance to the world and obviously is a adult who plays a teens video game (in most cases). i think what you need to remember is how much time someone will invest into lvling a character to achieve 94 skill points and then to consider whether posting a guide it took 10 minutes to compile is doing that player any favours.

your guide is a start but it does need more work. D+ is my mark more course work required
