Cold Maiden/BoI/+X Freeze question

im assuming that the mod "freeze target +X" suffers the 1/4 hell penalty?

now my friend is saying he didnt think +X freeze target wouldnt even work for the AoE on blades of ice :(

is this true?

Yes, +Freeze Target does not increase the durations of the freezing of either BoI or PS's 3rd charge AoE.

It may not work with the AoE.. but it still does work on teh monster you're hitting/attacking. If nothing else that is a good reason to stick with it, at least in my book.

I do agree though that in terms of the Cold skills/effects assasin got shafted a bit.

My main consern is that the Cold/freeze doesn't transfer with Blade Sentinel and Blade Shield. Something which is a major setback.... Buuutttt... I have a huge HOPE that eventually Blizzard will realize this and change it back... thus *pop* making this effect once more desirable..

if they ever work on the gme again. personally im not so optimisitic.

what gets me is that this stuff works with FA in zons.
