I am suprised when I see that noone use holyshock aura
then I decide to show everyone a new class of paladin I dont know how to add my info in this site but I will just wait for a contact from site!!!
Shortly I will explain some of my ideas
I thimk that holy shock aura is very powerfull but only if the player is very rich
the dmg of charge attack with holy shock can rich 30k+ holy shock dmg can grow enought to run around and everyone around i a very big radius to die in 3-4 holy pulses
I cant understand why everyone is lookin for magic dmg or charge attack at paladin I think that paladins strongest power is holy shock with prety good items
here I will ofer a good items for paladin of that sort
helm-->grifon(max variable is good) with 5/5 lih\ghtening facet
armor--> ormus(max lightening) with lightenng facet
shield--> HoZ is prety good ( u can put lightening facet or resists it depends to your charms)
amulet--> I think that mara is good choise for that kind of paladin
rings (1st ring must be frost raven 2nd ring is good to be soj or bul ring)
glooves--> for that kind of paladin very important is AS because its AR is not so improved like other kind of fighter paladins I think that may not be problem if AS is gretly encriesed
for that reason I prefer to put 20% EAS gloves with life and some resists
Boots--> I'd think very long time for that choise .Finaly I deside that there must be boots with high DR and +life +resist +faster hit recovery my choise is rare boots players that havend found good rare boots can put WT that is tha way I think
belt is very strong choise I think better choise is spider web :D
weapon can be runeword shael um tir is good runeword
but there can be more powerful weapon for that paladin like 6soc phaseblade with 6x5/5 lightening facets
my time is over sometime when I found free time will show the power of holy_SHocker

1) Check the paladin forum, there is already a guide on the build which is named "tesladin"
2) The runeword is called " crecent moon"
3) Most tesladins use zeal as their attack to rapidly apply their holy shock damage and
4) Use paragraphs, sentances and periods PLEASE.

blackknight has the right idea, be sure to check the guide, it will tell you everything you'd need to know. Equipment wise your setup is kind of lacking. The best most godliest items are not -always- the best choice for a build. With a phase blade you need 75 IAS for a 4fpa zeal which you will NEED pvp else you'll get slaughtered. Crescent moon runeword only provides 20, so you're going to need alot of IAS from other sources (cats eye, 20ias blood gloves and socket a 15ias jewel into helm/armor perhaps)

Has anyone tried this build, a 'tesladin' in a PvP situation? I'd love to hear your results. Ages ago I made one for PvM and he was really excellent. Is he much good in dueling?

I tried my PvM telsadin out in PvP. It's mostly aweful. If you had too much money to spend you could make an OK PvP telsadin.

That bad huh? :( I can't help but thinking 5 hits of 2500 average lightning damage at a 4fpa speed has got to hurt them somewhat. I guess most are going to have max lightning resist and add in the pvp penalty, but even so.

Would you mind listing your gear if you can remember it olio?

I didn't have pvp gear, just the random crap I was wearing on my DC killer. I think it was guillemaine's face, duriel shell, dracul's grasp, gore riders, some resist shield, ravenfrost, dwarf star, and other random crap. Ahh, and light saber as weapon. Perhaps not a really fair comparison but I do fine with my hammerdin and similarly aweful gear.

The basic problem was this: Say you work your way up to a 6k average damage holy shock (44 skill fully synergized). You'll be hitting people for 1k minus their resists. With tgods on this means you'll hit people for 110 on average. That just isn't very good given the sacrifices you will have had to make to your attack rating and speed. At great cost you can kill bad duelers in an interesting manner.

I think most tesladins are uses Conversion,Conviction,Foh,Holy Shield,H.Shock.
This will make your char high ranged or meelee chaotic.This char is too dangerous within a Hellrack Colossus xbow or Widowmaker.They're m8ty.
