moat trick?

well basically, what is the "moat trick"..

and also, how many anni's does the Dclone drop? just one?
..or several depending on how many is in the party that kills him?

I believe that you are reffering to luring meph to that little act 4 portal thing which is surrounded (hence the moat)... then you stand on one of the areas surrounding it so that he can't see you, but you can still see him.... and then you can procede with the meph bashing.... I prefer to lure him to the far left of the moat however... the tport across to the other side (above where all those ghoul lords lurk) and pepper him from there... That way I don't have to worry about those councel dudes. Unless of course they are hanging out in the center thing... In which case I lure them away :P

and uber D only drops one no matter what... sucks, don't it? :p

see the river kinda thing in durance of hate level 3? well you lure meph to the edge and teleport over to the other side, then you run back a little bit so meph is at the edge of your screen, now he cannot attack you, but you can still see him, now you slap on your mf gear and meteor/blizzard the **** out of him, and thats called the moat trick. takes a little practice, since if you run too far, you wont be able to hit him, if you run not enough, he can still attack.
