they will own you if they are any good. windies = foh immune.

unfortunetely a wind druid will have cyclone armor and that will ruin your plans to own them. i wouldnt plan on sticking with one pure build since foh can/will be absorbed. its not too hard. id suggest making a mage build that leans more towards foh if you like foh so much. i had foh and holy shock and level 25 conviction (with some offensive aura charms) and still had good hammer damage. (think like 5k ish~)

Got ALOT of funds? GOGO Max Vita, all damage Light Sorc. On a good hit a Windy is 1hit dead. :thumbsup:

Make a v/t or mage instead of a crappy foh.
Waste of time IMO, slow in pvm, easily sorbed, crucial weakness vs a windy and ES sorc, as well as anyone who can stack some resist, not to mention absorb.

Even if a person had a lot of absorb, wouldn't conviction fill up more than the missing gap?

BTW Mehatesmaphack, nice name, cyclone armor immunized from conviction, not foh, so it will still do dam, though it will take 5 billion hits to take down a lvl 45 cyclone armor.

actually denis it'll take 3-5 shots to take it down (since ive dueled a lot of nub windies that dont recast) and ya what mehates ment was that a good windy will always recast cyclone so fohs wont hurt em at all

I remember dueling probably the godliest eastern fohers.
Not sure if their char name and spellings are correct:

Fish-QQ | used hoto and near perf griffons |
JECHTED | used 6X 5/5 Light Facet Sword and Perf griffons,zak,etc|
BoosT|used 5X5/5 Light Facet Scepter with +3 foh, with mid% gear|

These guyz pretty much own all chars, and give ele druids a test of endurance.

Having a standard *near godly* Foh ( aka hoto, shako, etc) isn't gunna cut it.
Try getting godly weapons like those guys, with enig, and u could take out most casters without using convict.

The thing is foh is easily negatable once you get passed the conviction aura.
what more powerful? 21k fireball or 8k FoH? and fireball is easily negated as well.
and you dont need high class gear to be a good foher.. a cresant moon is good too.

Even with conviction on, all I need is a 4p-topaz shield, decent resist from other gears and a t-god to make foh almost useless (no to mention wisp to absorb).
Here's the math:
with 10000 lightning damage FOH (that's very very high already)
10000/6 after pvp penality = 1666
1666 x 0.15 (85 resist from t-god) = 250
250 after the absorb from t-god will get it to even lower the foh damage.

and you are saying without conviction.... i would really want to see how a all FOH pally can duel without conviction.... :lol:

If you want an effective char against windy's and Necros, you should build a WW assa. A ww assa with good gear can rather easy beat necros and windy's, because they can block Tornado and spirit/Spear.

FoHers can generally do pretty well in pubbies with the exception of windies. Reason being is that most people cannot sacrifice enough gear to negate your FoH and still be competitive against other chars in the game. Especially if there is a Blizzard sorc present.

Barring negation, FoH can be very deadly because of its auto-hit and offscreen firing capabilities. Its dreadfully easy to aim, much moreso than Spear or FB for example and without the stacked res it can kill in only a few hits.

smite dam to 1.8k-2k

If necro us dec , it's very difficult to deal with necro

I think hammer+chargedin or hammer+Fohdin is very good pvp char

Because he has 10K+ hammer dam and many foh dam add Conviction-100res

foh+conv -->Can pin down rivals

So he is one char with very strong comprehensive strength ! :surprise:

i duel with a fister and ur right druids r a problem but ive near enough solved that with a simple runeword sanctuary shield it has slow missile charges which slows bone spirit spear lightning sorcs ect druids attacks hurricane and tornado u may not be victorious all the time but it boosted up my wins against druids who tend 2 pick on foh thinking there an easy kill u watch them complain when there slow missiled they may be able to recast cyclone armour but the process is that slow thats all they can do u either win or stale mate as for other classes there not much of a problem.


Before i start getting badmouthed im not saying im godly im far from it i die as much as anyone and i do have some princibles i dont use on players that have manners and enjoy a fair challenge but lets be honest in a public duel how many players have skill and are manner duelers very few but i do respect a good dueler even if they wipe the floor with me

My v/t can pack stacked LR, and still have 4k life with max block. Only problem i encouter is that i loose a fhr frame, 228 life and a bit of DR. a FOH'er is just plain annoying imho.

Sorb owns a FOHer, and even TGods will keep you alive for more than 2-3 FOHs. They are too easily negated, not to say they suck, but anyone with half a brain can own them.

Smart druids will keep recasting cyclone armor, and FOHers will never be able to beat them. Cold sorcs are a terrible matchup because they use EShield, and FOH doesn't do nearly enough damage to break it. This is true for lite sorcs also. Necros are also incredibly hard because they have minions and good FCR. Having a backup attack is really the way to go.
