Can NM Meph drop a Gheeds?

I am currently running NM Meph trying to get a Skulders and a Duriels Shell, but I currently have a Gheeds with very low MF...something like 21%. I know you can only have one on your character when playing and I want to get a better one. Can NM drop a Gheeds? I want a better one, but do not see the point in not carrying the one I have if Meph cannot drop one at all.

Why are you running NM meph rather than Hell Meph?

Not quite "ready" for Hell Meph yet...hopefully soon :-)

I am not sure that skullder's can drop in NM meph-- I might be wrong, but either way, you may be better running NM baal. His drops are better (though not nec. in my exp), and you will get xp to get you ready for hell running him.

I didn't know that nightmare Meph could drop this, can he? Lot easier to do NM Meph runs than hell.....

Only Baal and Diablo can drop a Gheeds in NM. You have to find it in hell from regular monsters.

Also, the difference between a 21 and a 40 gheeds may not really be all that much depending on how much MF you have on you

For sure hell andy can drop a gheeds. You can work your way up.

The only 2 Gheeds I've ever found were in Hell Flayer Jungle and Hell Pit (that was the better one with 39%MF).
