Best Weapon Fury Druid

So what is it? I've been looking through runewords and uniques and I can't decide which one is the best. I'm trading like mad to earn enough for a good runeword if that is a good idea.

Can you suggest a few GREAT weapons for druids? I'm talking great as in killer damage. Don't worry about price range.

I heard the Beast runeword is pretty good but I'm not sure if its better than some uniques. Famine interests me too but it looks just like a beefed-up Baranar's Star.

So, basically, what are some weapons with insane damage?

IMO, speed>damage.
So I guess you're gonna want to look for a weapon that hits 5fpa at least, then worry about damage.
But that's just my opinion, anyone else want to help out?

Upped and shaeled ribcracker worked very well for me - 50% cb, 70% ias, 50% fhr and up to 300% ed :worship:

if pvp, you want 4 frame, or if you go with 5 frame, you MUST atleats hit 6k dmg.

you need -95 wias for 4 frames with any one hander.

Ah yeah, forgot to mention that I am only interested in one handed weapons.

The BEST is probably a Cruel Cryptic of Quickness with 3 Ed/Ias Jewels. They were possible to cube in 09.

for pvp; i'd go with eth tomb reaver zod 2shael if you can get one...
1 handed dont really know... my druid uses beast ba atm; but that is only due to lack of other weapons ... botd ba is better speed and damage then beast but still not fast enough.

shael'd stormlash is 5fps.. not sure about damage aspects of that though. eth zod horizons? :lol: 5fps with okish damage..


overall; eth tomb reaver i think is the number 1 choice; followed by botd glorious axe :lol: for pvp... ribcracker for pvm.

I've seen a link that shows an eth phase blade, with 522% ed, 70 ias, +min damage, and +ar. Has 2 40/15s in it.

Godliest is an ethereal phase blade with fools (or masters 150% ED), cruel 300% ED, 2 socket, of quickness, of transcendence +20 minimum damage, of Slaughter +20 max damage, socketed with 2 40/15 IAS jewels.

At level 99 with fool's that's

236 - 329 damage
+1633 attack rating
70% IAS

Higher average than any cryptic, plus the attack rating. With Masters could get even more damage, with less attack rating.

In theory it does more damage than a perfect 420% ED CCSoQ. I guess most people just think of it as 'ghetto' and say CCSoQ is better.
CCSoQ has the high max damage, I know. But over time The perfect 'Caddy' does more damage, unless you can get 95% Deadly Strike without the Lo rune from the weapon. And honestly, I don't recall any setups that are capable of this.

ya like meph said. if you want to see a very nice/solid fury waepon go to eeb's guide and look up high end 1 handed fury weapons. you'll see a rare that will blow your top off. eth phase blade with mucho damage and easy 4 frames.
for 2 hander ill still stick with eth tomb reaver. sexy and very nice damage and range.

I'm still not much closer to choosing a weapon though. I have a Baranar's star I may settle with.. or maybe Gris caddy if I can come up with the IaS jewels.

Yes, but as far as I know, in 1.10 you can no longer get 3 sockets from chipping.

B-star with shael is okay though.

I dunno. The 'Adds 1-200 lightning damage, Adds 1-200 fire damage, Adds 1-200 cold damage' looks nice but I imagine in Hell that elemental damage will be nerfed. Ah well. I got gore riders to help me out.

Ive been thinking of this weapon dilemma also, as I too am making a Fury/Rabies Wolf. I have a ribcracker, so im leaning to the Up'd + Shaeled version of it. For my switch I plan on using the Plague Bearer/SS set-up.

I think the cube recipe works with all weapons now (correct me if Im wrong). If so get a magic one and zillions of chipped. Socket it shael+ed/ias jewel for max speed. But gris caddy beats it now.

It does indeed have style points, unfortunately there are better options both for pvp and pvm.

Hello, this is my first time posting here. I just have a few questions about my current fury build. I am rather noobish and poor. My druid is now lvl 78 and has fury damage around 3400, 4100 with merc, 4400 with both merc and HoW. Life at 2300 and 2900 with OS. I am still in the testing phase so I have 39 skill pts saved. base str 145 and 200+ after all equipment. vit at 225. dex at 50, should've taken 5-10 less. no energy. I did max lycanthropy and fury and left the rest at 1. no elemental skill. I was interested in building fury/rabies hybrid and so I put in 1 pt at poision creeper since I don't have the ring. I was assuming those vine would die quickly anyway and would have to repair the charges on that ring. I am using Passion on a feral axe, I know I am poor. I just thought that as an honest player I would never have that botd thing or ribcracker so I asked myself to be more realistic. I am in the process of making Oath on an eth feral axe or silver edge axe. last time I checked Oath on those 2 axes can be 8/5 or 9/5 fury weapon. is this ok? My Passion was doing pretty well in NM act 5 8 player game. helping everyone kill souls. I know that won't help in hell game. and to have crowd control, I figure wolf isn't too great at it, I put reapers toll on my might merc. any more suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

wuts eth 3os tomb reaver worth on USeast ladder? ive been after one for awhile for my fury/rabies druid but am totally in the dark as to how much they cost.
