hey 3trap claws w/ 2 sockets waht are they gererally worth to a serois trapper

yea i know trading forum but since your the sins and you know the sin gear better then the general public

so far i've ben selling these for items like

hotos
low enigmas
low dmg botd (it was executioner hella low but it was still better damage then doombringer)

A plain 3 trap claw isn't worth much at all as they can be shopped easily.

Therefore, having one with 2 sockets is worth slightly more simply because its convenient not to have to spend a socket quest.

Trap claws only start to have real value when secondary mods are taken into account. For example, with +3 to traps or +2 to sin skills, in addition to +3 to a single trap, you can ask a good price. Get 2 sockets and you can ask an even better price.

But, 3 trap with 2 sockets isn't worth much really, at least not to people with knowledge of how easy they are to come by. They certainly aren't worth 2 JAHs or an enigma.

for those on USEAST non-ladder... there is a trapper named Baby that uses dual +3 trap +3 lightning sentry claws with 2x 15% IAS + 15% all resists jewels in both claws. those are worth tapdancing to.

Like others have said, they aren't worth much unless they have nice Skill(s) alongside, like Weapon Block, a Trap, Blade Shield, a Shadow, Mind Blast, DF, or some IAS. Even then it can be hard to shift them. I have a bunch of them from when I go check Anya every Baalrun I enter :D .

I've dueled Baby with my fire sorc(UberLag) during the summer, he was pretty mannered and his sin was well built but he liked playing defensively.
