which is more effective in terms of pvp and pvm. i know if u stack absorbs then theres no point using FC to duel. assume minor absorb.

Fire claws can reach up to around 15k damage easy. Thats pretty hard to absorb if you go by ch dueling rules. Even duel dwarfs will give 30%, which is 10% away from ideal.

In the end it depends who you duel. Fireclaws would be great vrs mages {goes right threw bone armor}, and fury might be better vrs some melees. Its a personal pref. really, you should list who you generaly duel / if its pubby or private / limited rules / ect.

fireclaws slices windys and low lifer ranged and casters up liek a hit knife through butter. Fury is better vs other melee IMO

10x shifting gcs' {withouth a 2nd mode = easy to find}, = +10
Jalas helm = +4
Ark's valor {cheapy}, chains of honor, enigma = +2
Cheap +3 shifting magic amulet = +3
Soj = +1

All add up to 20, if you max fire claws & 4 synergies, fire claws would be level 40, 14712 - 16144 damage. Average of that damage is exactly 15,428 fire damage. Do note that it is much easier to add even more +skills {a 2nd soj / bul kathos, arachnids mesh, an anni small charm, weapons, +bc from a call to arm, ect}.

Compared to what most people at these forums call "standard" dueling gear, i'd have to say its all pretty reasonable.

The soj and possibly the valor might be hard to get. The rest can be traded for with lower~mid level runes & p~gems.
