LLD Mayhem!

Okay so, I havent made a LLD yet this season of HCL and I want to, Im sick of the lvl 24+ chargeadins, seems thats ALL thats out there now...so im making a lvl 13 assy and IM looking for help... Im N O T rushing her to hell a5, only nm a5 so check it out and help me with some tips ect pls

Gear:
Angelic ammy and rings
Mechanics BSOD
CK boots
Deaths Gloves+ belt
3s mask
3s light plate
3s eth blade talon
All socketed with maxes

Stats:
40 str
base dex (base(20) +angelics(20) +ck(20)... if Ive done the math right for a 65% block shield gives me 75% block)
rest vit
no eng

Skills:
13 TS
2 BoS
6 Claw Mastery

Charms:
large +15 lifes
and a +1 str small to get from 40-41 str for plate
Also wondering if I should shop +1 skill claws on switch for PreBuffs...I dont know the lvl req on them tho...

claws are clvl 15, but heres a little trick: get the angelic sabre and supply on weapon switch. coupled with rings n ammy it will yield +1 skill. if ya wanna do it really sick, then add a -15% req jool to sigons and add a tad more str. that way you have +2 prebuff on switch. my 14 sin has sub-par gear but she's pretty strong too, as my blade talons are down to 33 str/dex ;)

Get a small charm with 1-2 cold dmg (lvl 10) for added freezing, and on switch go for a claw with 5% chance to cast amp (paired with Umbral or Pelta)

Use the switch gear to charge up and switch back to damage gear before release, at least that is how I understand it should work? Not sure I'm 100% correct here though :p

Depending on opponent you have to come up with a proper tactic to use with the two gear setups. If you should release with no amp on, release with just 2 charges if you have him amped et.c.

edit: I know the amp thing sounds like a longshot since it's such a low % to cast, but at least you can try it out if you want to and don't have anything better to put on your switch :)
The time you land that amp on 3:rd chargeup and immediately switch to dmg setup before releasing your opponent will truly be surprised...

IIRC, 1 to all skills is level 22 and 1 to a tree is level 15.

forget the claw and use an amp claw with clegs on switch.

angelics sword paired with jewelery will give u +1....use that on your switch for casting BoS....as for the amp dmg, if you can find an eth rare claw that gives you amp dmg as well, great....if not dont bother. If you can find someone to stand there and let you hit them until you amp then stand there still and let you release a charge, then you've found yourself someone with chicken hack and wont bring down the kill anyways. Your build is fine...no point in going "uber" these days....there just isnt enough duels out there to make it worth while.

I disagree AzaZaz.
With amp and critical hit he might easily get those ears.
Hitting with amp claw -> not pushing him over chicken limit -> amp -> switch to
clegs -> roll critical -> collect ear.

What I used to do with every dueler was to have the merc with an amp weapon also.

Amp is your friend vs the chickens.

the only ones that do stand there and let u amp them and release a charge are chicken hackers and those are the only people i really care about killing . I enjoy winning duels with people that are legit but just finding and dueling people like that is a treat.

Most of those peps with chicken that stand there and let u amp them dont realize a 13 azn with amp + ds is doin 4k ez

whether they use chicken or not doesnt really matter for TS sin since this is pretty much a "1-hit kill or no kill" type deal. Unless they are dumb you wont be able to get 3 charges, release, then 3 more charges. You are aiming for 1-hit or nothing at all.

Missing the whole psychological aspect of it....these ppl are so afraid of dying that they resort to cheating to stay alive. What do you think they'll do when they see that little curse above their head. You're gonna get the odd one who might try to tough it out or swing thru it...but by the time it takes for you to switch wpns then lock back on to release, they've either hot-key quit or are double step back to the town. NOT TO MENTION chickens arent going to let you hit them with a 3rd charge regardless of amp or not....not only chickens, any pvp who lets someone release a 3rd charge is incredibly confident or incredibly naive.

If you're going to amp with an asn, you don't need 3rd charge, 1st or 2nd will be more then enough with a lvl 13-14...lets face it, the majority of ppl using chicken use it for a reason, they can't afford or don't know how to make a real dueler.

When i said about people standing there while amped i must think im guessin or somethin? I just made a lvl 12 ts azn and im telling u more people then u think stand there with amp above there head. People ur own lvl very rarely do but when u duel a 20+ char they tend to be very over confident. I talked a 35 pvm barb into duelin me and he stood there while amped and i koed him. I got about 25 ears in 2 nights...most of who where 20+ and amped when i koed them.

Late into the 3rd night i dueled a 36 druid who killed me :(

how long ago was this? I couldnt find 25 ppl to fight a lvl 12 in 2 weeks let alone 2 nights in recent months....maybe back in the day for sure....if you can find 25 ears to take in 2 nights nowadays my hat goes off to you...I don't care what build or how many ppl I amp, I just can't find that many duels....maybe i need a new name ;)
