For fun, how about a Hel and a Shael in this baby? Would it attack faster? Also considered 2x PEmerald, for 200 poisondamage, can't really decide, please help :P

I think shael and hel are good choices, since shael makes the weapon increase in ias, and the hel makes the requirements lower, which is crucial due to the high requirements of it.

I had a Hellrack on my weapon switch, seeing if it is worth it as a backup for PIs (physical imune monsters). I have a Shael and Hel in it. My answer is: It is quite inefficient in that role and I put it back on one of my bow mules. The reasons why are:
1. It fires soooooo slowly, if you find Buriza slow, try Hellrack and you know what the word slow really means :). Even Shaeld it is still very slow.
2. To deal with PIs, I found it much more efficient to get 20-22 Magical arrow (my Bow Amazon has 14 +8 Magical Arrow), there are not many physical and magic immune monsters/bosses. On top of that, higher level Magical Arrow does not need mana or arrows/bolts, pumping 200 or more into a PI Boss can drain your arrows quickly if you don't use Magical Arrow.

For backup, my Bow Amazon has 1 + 8 Fire Arrow and 1 + 8 Cold Arrow, they get the job done if a boss is PI and Magical Immune (I found one in like 6 weeks).

So Hellrack gets the job done (killing PIs) but it takes a lot of time and if you do not want to put points into skills just to be able to deal with PIs (especially if you are PvP), go for it, otherwise it is not worth it.

Which sort of character are you considering this for? I typically have a bow or crossbow on my Pallys for use against Oblivion Knights - that the weapon is slow is of no great importance, seeing as I hardly use it. Is this type of application (occasional use) what you have in mind? Or are you looking for something that will be used frequently?


I keep a Buriza on my Pally to deal ranged damage - anytime the OK's are around, or when I want to draw out a group from a tight space.
