dual flamebellow question

Hi need help with this question: If a barbarian wields dual flamebellows will he have 24-36(12-18 plus 12-18) inferno skill points plus 6 (3 plus 3) fire skill points? I only have one flamebellow so I can't test this...maybe someone has 2 flamebellows...really need the info for a barb guide I'm making...thanks

Just wanted to be sure you were aware that inferno is a bugged skill, so it only does about 1/4th its listed damage.

Probably doesn't matter which way the skills work out either way it ends up being puny.

I know its bugged ... but it does give synergy to meteor so very important for the build Im making...thanks

Question: charges and bonuses to interclass skills from gear work as synergies (always baffles me, especially when synergies themselves must require hard points to be used) but how do hitpowers work? For instance, you're wearing an amulet of hydra shield, but is that treated as an ability that only work 10% of the time when the conditions of the procing are met or are they ignored.

Also, do you have to wear +tAs items or like this rare amulet (with hydra shield) you can wear +sorc skills?

Chance to cast skills do not synergize other skills. They do get synergized tho.

Inferno is 'bugged' to do 50% dmg.

oskills stacks, so getting two Flamebellows is useful, although the damage will still be far too low.

I've had dual flamebellows before. It was fun to cast inferno all around just as a stunt, but I never killed anything with em. However.. I could at times make my barb invincible with the jump bug... :buddies:

yes. there is a build suggestion in the druid forum that massively uses charge synergies. would search it for you, but the search function...

try searching "spellsteel" and you'll find it.

inferno's synergy is warmth, only charges synergy on off character classes, oskills do not.

and the +skills from flamebellow would not synergize any oskills/charges/ctc, remember only hard skill points and charges synergize.

next time you see charges of warmth let me know. :lol:

yep your right. mixed it up with charges, sorry. but he wants to use meteor and inferno would synergise it... if it was charges and not +skills.

If this Barbarian use Dual Flamebellow swords and relies on Inferno, can he raise level by puting Sorc Fire Skills Grand Charms in his inventory ? Can a Wolf Barb use Druid Skills charms to raise Lycantrophy ?

Also, will this be the case if WW Sin puts in his inventory Barb Combat Skills GC?

This is how I know the bug works:
Inferno consists of two missiles per puff, and the combined dmg of both is shown in the skill description. Only one of them can hit a monster, which makes one puff do half dmg, so Inferno does half the dmg listed.

Only +all skills boosts the Slvl of oskills. +skilltab does not.

+skill tab works as long as the (sorceress only) tag is not there, IE magefist's +1 fire skill will work but the grand charm with +1 fire tree (sorceress only) will not work.
