I noticed that the pattern and duress runewords are listed as being inactive as of 2001. Anyone know if they are active now?

I noticed that too, I was looking to make Duress. Hopefully someone can help us out? :)

I just made one last week for my Smiter; Duress works just fine. I can't speak for the others ones based on experience...

Rule #1: Don't ever look for accurate up-to-date game info on this site. You'll have better luck searching the Arreat Summit (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/).

Rule #2: Always take a pre-game dump.

So you will be happy to see there are a few more active runewords now, when you check AS. Plus apparently 23 new ones that nobody has discovered yet.

Det,

The "Man in Black" was the Dread Pirate Roberts. Yeah I know, I'm lame. Great movie IMHO though.

You are the first to get it right :D

Nice to see that some people read the signatures. I love reading them...and I love watching movies. That is why I head over to imdb.com once in a while to find me some new quotes for my signature.

Gosh...that sounded like a crap commercial

The 23 new runewords issue is p***ing me off a bit - it seems blizz keeps them secret to sustain people's interest in the game, but for the dedicated players it's only annoying. I don't see any sense in that - I'd understand if thay wanna wait until the end of the 99 race, but it's over.
