hey guys!
I’ve playing on the battle.net for few months now, and I still don’t know how to talk to my buddies online. I got a tip on “ f/ list ... f/ … etc.” but I’m slow on this  . Few of my buddies online have been sending messages while in the game, but I don’t know how to respond. Please help. Thanks

Try "/f list" next time.

Greetings,

/f add [account] to add your buddy to the list
/f remove [account] to remove him
/f promote [account] to move him up in the list
/f demote [account] to move him down

/f list to see all your friends you added
/f l does the same

/f msg [message] sends message to all your buddies
/f m [message] does the same

/w *[account] [message] sends a message to a particular person
/w [character_name]@[realm] [message] does the same

And if you are in a channel (not in game) you can use:

/reply [message] to respond to the last person that whispered you

Cheers :drink:

...or just for making some of the commands shorter:

/reply [message] can be replaced by simply writing: /r [message]
/w [charactername]@[Realm] [message] can be replaced by: /w [charactername] [message] as long as he is on the same realm as you are (which your friends tend to be?)

The whole /w thing can also be replaced by /msg, so for example /msg *[accountname] [message] will work just as fine.

Adding friends to your list works the same way with shortcuts.
/f add [account] can be replaced by /f a [account]
/f remove [account] replaced by /f r [account]
havent tried promote/demote though, cant really do it from here, but i wouldnt be too surprised if /f p & /f d worked too...
:yep:
