I think Matt was the one who made some jabber duelers close to the mid level. Well if i made a jabber with an eth 312 dmg eth hyperion java (assuming i trade it off of sip) could i make a jabber? Its level req. 41 but i'd go to levle 42 for travs. I would use either ed'd shaft or 80 ed life armor, ed'd whistans, crafted 20 ias 10 CB (any skills for a zon), 15 DR string, 3 socket helm with 3 or 2 ed/ias jewels or plain ias if i can't afford otherwise. With 2x ias jewels i'd hit the 50 ias BP and with one more i'd hit the last bp. It has the same speed as titans, and more dmg than eth titans, if it had ias then it'd be godly but it's still good. Ty to sip for doing the ias calculations btw. So with this gear, maybe a few tweaks, and max'd jab, 10-12 dodge, and enough critical to atleast reach 50 percent would i be able to stand against an eth yari whirler or something? (btw the gear is just a "rough draft" and will probably be tweaked)

You could've done a search on his previous posts... what a waste of bandwidth.

Didn't you say that he was a guru in the first post? Regardless, sorry for being a poo on a stick.

Well, I have made a few level 25/26 jabbers, but never a 42.

If you go to 42 for travs, ditch the hyperions and use titans! Their damage is still very good, with PLENTY of other mods which make em better IMO.

I think jabbers, especially at that level, are more of "win almost every time, but no ears", like smiters. They dont kill fast enough to beat chicken, and if you come across the rare dueler NOT using chicken, you probably wont kill him either, though like I said, you should win most of your duels.

Gear looks good, you might want some more +max in there, maybe some good sharp grand charms mixed in there? IAS is important, but you do want to be doing some decent damage too, just find the right balance of speed and damage.

You might conscider losing the travs for some goblin toes, and going all out speed... your damage will be enough to hurt them on its own, but crushing blow would make the build shine.

i agree with that win every time but no ear thing, with my whole jabbers career i got about 6 ears but over 100 wins/enemy chickens.

Hmm well im going to levle 40 (if sip trades the bloddy jaba!) because thats the level req, and i will get more duels. besides i dont have decnt life charms and wwalks will help a bit. Also travs are expensive :(. Lastly, should i use guiluames ? Im not sure if crit and DS can stack?

if you are level 42 everyone will think you are a CS zon (level 42 = jav GC).

so level 40 is probably your best bet...

and.. erm... since you will have a lot of crit, deadly isnt as important.

DD = CS + DS*(1-CS/100)

DD = %chance for double damage, CS = %chance for crit, and DS = %chance for deadly strike.

SO if you have say 60% chance for crit, your chance for double damage
DD = 60% + DS*(1-.6) = 60% + .4*DS

So guillames only adds .4 * 15% = 6% chance for double damage.

ye, but guilliames also adds 35% of CB, and chopping 10% extra off someone's health every 3 blows is a rather nice idea if you rack up 5 blows per second
