Blizzard or Meteorb?

Hello.

Well I am getting a bit sick of sc and want to play hc, and since I am starting out with nothing I am making a sorceress as my first charcter, both for the mf abilities and I like playing them.

However, should I make a meterob, which I have successfully played twice in ladder sc, or a blizzard (which I have never played but can appreciate the raw strength of when fully synergized)?

I know there are many pros and cons for both builds, just interested in hearing what experianced hard core players think. I appreciate all answeres.

What Cleglaw said, but if you have any experience with an orb sorc I would highly suggest her for your first hc mfer.

Max telekinesis, orb, teleport(trust me)17 into cm with +skills, and the rest into warmth/ice bolt.

One of the safest mfing builds and since you are new to hc you will need to keep it safe for a while.

Mf NM meph until you are prepared for hell and make sure to pick up those flawless's and cube em. Perfect gems can get you basically all you need to go through the game.

Welcome to HC and also the forums. Although, stay clear of Barry, there have been a few sc transfers that have gone missing lately and I can only suspect that they have met their demise inside the tummy of that crazed bear. :lol:

And do not, I repeat DO NOT talk about eating/killing/hurting bunnies. In fact, it would best if you did not speak of bunnies at all. There is a ninja bunny out there just waiting to try out her new lethal moves on unsuspecting forum members. :surprise:

I might actually try it out, seems nothing much can go wrong with it until you hit hell...

And btw besides playing D2 one of my favorite things to do is go up early in the morning, before dawn. Drive to the forest and go ...

Anyways, 1 into ES is all you need. Promise :innocent: Also, what do you mean nothing will go wrong...til hell. Eh eh??!? but seriously you'll be dishing out enough damage to hold your own in hell. For hell meph get an a2 merk, have him tank while you static ole mephy then finish him off with a few orbs. PLUS you should be very safe all the while you are doing this! Which, if you didn't notice, dying is NOT good in HC :)

And don't be surprised if a member invades this thread and teaches you a lesson about being nice to the poor little bunnies. Trust me, you'll know who I'm talking about when you see their avatar.

I agree with the two posters above me. A Meteorb sorc is a good choice. Go with what you know, and if you know that, go with that. Got that?

On a side note, I tried a blizzard sorc as my first character in the 1st ladder season, for a brief period (started like 3-4 months after the season started and got some friends to rush me + gib itamz). So, I MFed NM/Hell mephy. Don't get me started on what a slow and painful process it was. Not recommended.
