What PVPer can best use this armor?

Artisans full plate mail of the whale, 92 life, 80 ed and maybe some dex. I was thinking maybe a level 42 jabber with titans, travs, angelics, whistans, guils, and the belt/gloves im not sure. Why a jabber? Because in low-mid pvp zons are rarely seen (except for the 49 cs zon, but that's nm dueling) and when they are most of them aren't too good. Is this build viable? On the skills maybe 10 dodge, max jab, rest critical strike? I've been meaning to ask about both of these things so i combined the thread :p. Thanks in advance, always

about your zon build.........its not a bad idea, but you could improve some things:

a) dont waste too many points into critical strike, because of diminishing returns anything beyond 10 is not worth investing in.
b) if youre using the whistans guard, why not equip the orphans set gloves? 100 AR, 20IAS, 15 fire res, and 35 life from set bonus = good.
c) There is no c).

Do keep in mind that Eth Titans permanently lose durability when using them for jabbing... so don't start out with one w/ low dura already ;P

Uhh, permanently lose durability? I'd have to say this isn't the case, but if you've personally had this happen, I'd welcome the screenshots.

K ty for the input. At level 37 i wouldn't have a good wep, unless i brought my eth steel baba to that level which i might. I have another idea for a dueler, a level 30 cs zon. Wep would be a 2 java skill 30 ias matriarchal java, 2 java skill/ias/cb blood gloves (if i can get), prubied pcrown, ias life armor if i need the ias, boots i have no clue (go to 31 for wwalks?), and shaeld sigs? Anyone have any idea if this would work? I haven't made a lightning fury zon for a LONG time so i don't know the dmg outputs.

Javelins lose durability ('quantity') when used in Melee. For some reason the replenish mod doesn't affect this loss of quantity.

Ias on magic gloves is lvl 35 req, iirc.
Assuming maxed for lvl charged strike(18@35), rest of points into synergies(26 total),with +4 jav/ias weapon, +2 jav gloves, +1 zon ammy, +1 peasant crown, +1 sigons shield, you're looking at: 1 - 1735 lightning per bolt, with 8 bolts.
If all bolts hit (not sure if this is possible, and if it is, at all likely), and each bolt does 1735 damage, you're looking at 2313 PVP damage, before resists.
75% resist cuts this to 578.
80% resist(darkglow) = 462
With a more realistic scenario of 4 bolts hitting, doing average damage, you get 578 PVP before resists, 144 after 75% res, 115 after 80%
I think that a cs zon before lvl 42 will not win many duels against prepared opponents. Then again, how many of those do you see ^_~

Didn't happen to me in 1.09, though my 1.10 experience with eth javs with replenish is limited to trading eth titans away whenever I find them ;)

Anywho, if i went to level 42 would this work ? And would i rely on strictly elemental dmg or some phys dmg also.

Like I said, how many prepared opponents do you see? If you went to 42 you're opening a whole new can of worms, eth titans + 10 jav/life gcs, anyone?

One day when i can afford that i'm going to try to kill this cocky level 37 eth yari baba. Or would it be suicide? By the way thanks for all this input, everytime i make a dueler post i learn a lot more about hc pvp. Edit: Would eth titans be needed? i'm not sure on my gear but i don't think it would help phys damage, only surviving.

yeah, spearforanear. since i dont have mh, i didnt realize she was geared so well. if i had, i wouldve probably reconsidered the duel. it was a 25 kicker. shouldve xfered my 120 light res armor T_T. btw, whats ur acct on west tuna?
