My buddy just IM'd me and said that he saw on TV that Kerry's people called Bush's people can coneded the election...

No lawyers.

No Courts.

Man, I must say, if this is true then it sure makes the Democratic party look A LOT better than they did in 2000 with the bickering and recounts and lawyers, etc...

It was kinda obvious Bush was gonna win, Im glad Kerry did the right thing. This will help a lot in 2008.

Crap. I was kind of hoping for a Red Soxian-type comeback for Kerry.

It seems Kerry has conceded.

Not that it makes a difference right now, but I wonder if those provisional ballots are going to be counted. If not, I would say it's a sad thing to see disenfranchisement continuing even to this day.

I hope I'm still a U.S. citizen in 2008. Any whisper of a draft and...

I don't care who we're fighting, my life is worth far too much to waste on a blowmonkey like Bush.

There is nothing like the people who owe everything to a country (such as the ability to say this) and then leave the second they don't like it. Honestly, grow up!

I'm also happy that Kerry accepted his fate and decided to accept the inevitable outcome. But some people, you know who I’m talking about, can't even grasp the concept. I mean come on, “Blowmonkey”? Are you 7 or something? If that’s your only argument against Bush then i wouldn't mind if you left considering your rather ignorant view. Grow up and or shut up.

And a side note, who ordered 50 cheesecakes last night? I have them all and i want to know who to send the bill too. :buddies:

Just because Kerry conceded, it doesn't mean he can't still win. It's looking like he won't, but it's up to the courts pretty much, now.

Jdawg, the provisional ballots will be counted, I believe, but Kerry needs 80% of those to beat Bush, and looking at how Ohio voted, that seems highly unlikely.

I wouldn't expect the state to turn. I'm just against disenfranchisement.

You really have no clue do you, the Draft talk was brought up by 2 Kerry Supporters (Democrats) in an attempt to make it a voter issue. The Senior sponsor of the bill didn't even vote for it, and when asked why he didn't vote on his own bill he talked about poor people. So unless you decide to join on your own, you will be safe back home in your mommy's basement, and others will continue to defend your right to be ignorant.

Congrats to Pres. Bush.

I voted for Kerry but honestly I think both are abysmal candidates and we deserve a lot better.

Here comes Hillary in 08. Ug, more of the same.

You little brainwashed neocons keep fighting the good fight by jumping to personal insults. That's the only thing you spoiled little angst babies can understand. It all leads back to that fake patriotism they've instilled into you, where if someone disagrees with you they then become the enemy.

As for the draft, we have a "faith" based president that won't need to run for a reelection with a possibly expanding war agenda. You do the math.

Thank goodness. History will not be repeating itself. I can't say that I'm happy with the results but I'm glad that Kerry was man enough to admit defeat and that Bush will be man enough not to gloat (that's the RNC's job!)

No lawyers, no Justices, no governors. C-A-M-P-A-I-G-N-O-V-E-R spells "relief".

Uh...I really shouldn't laugh anymore because I'm starting to think you're serious.

Both candidates were "faith" based by your standard. One was just more in touch with what actually believing in your beliefs means. Neither would impose a draft.

Even though Kerry says he is Catholic, he lost most of the Catholic vote.

Sunlight and interaction with other people is a good thing.

Given the history of your posts, and that you created your account today - I think you're just flame-baiting to be honest. Post reported.

brainwashed neocons? Personal insults?

Ok, let's skip the friendly banter and get down to business. If you continue posting in this manner you will find yourself pissing off the Micky Mouse forum moderator because you won't be here anymore.

I'm glad we could have this chat. :)

Guys, if it's been said once it's been said a hundred times: DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!

Now, back to task. Bush has a fair lead in the popular vote anyway and it's not likely to drop to a level (with absentee and provisional ballots) that Kerry could feel comfortable with challenging. Therefore, Kerry took the gentleman's way out.
