kicksin i need help

My kicksin just hit level 66, and I started dueling with her in pubby games. She uses venom, dragon flight, dragon talon, and 1 point in burst of speed. My current helm is tals, just for the resist and +life/mana. I think I need a new helm, maybe something with OW. If somebody has good psn resist, then she has a rough time. She has 43% OW now. I can't think of any helms with OW on them, so what helm would be best? And I'm kind of too poor to afford to put 2 ums in her claws. Maybe I should try crafting a blood belt. Any suggestions?

You can’t find any helm with OW, but there are many other OW sources (also cheap). Use Shako or CoA instead, both are very good kick helms. You can use Duress armor 33 % OW or the number 1 kick assa gloves Dracul’s 25 % OW. If you only use dual claws you can make a Steel claw 50 % OW or Malice 100 % OW.
If you use Weapon/shield you can find alot of weapons loaded with OW. My kicker use Fleshripper, damn good kick weapon.

A crafted blood belt can potentially beat any other unique belt in game.

But list your gear, then it’s easier to give you some advice.

Helm:
There are 3 obvious choices, Shako, CoA or rare assa circlet.
Shako is always a great kick helm and it’s cheap compared to CoA. I would get a Shako, and if you can afford an UM, then use a rune/jewel to improve your resist.

Ammy:
Mara would be a natural choice, but it’s not cheap. Make a lot of crafted amu’s, and wait for the BIG one. I can take a while, but with a little luck you can roll one, with +2 assa skills, 20 % FCR and resist etc.
Despite you can’t use DS, a Highlord could be a decent budget choice, with +skills, IAS and LR.

Even a cats eye could be a option, because it gives you 30 % fast R/W + IAS, and make it easier to maintain speed when you use Fade.

Armor:
My kick assa use also Duress and it’s a decent kick armor.

Belt:
Instead of String, I would get a Thundergod’s. Its rather cheap, and it have some good kick mods:

5% Chance of casting slvl 7 Fist of the Heavens When Struck
Adds 1-50 Lightning Damage
+10% to Maximum Lightning Resist
Absorbs +20 Lightning Damage
+160-200% Enhanced Defense
+20 to Vitality
+20 to Strength
+3 To Lightning Strike (Amazon Only)
+3 To Lightning Fury (Amazon Only)

And Verdungo’s is always a natural choice when you go melee.

But again a crafted Blood belt can potentially beat any unique belt in the game.

Gloves:
Trang are ok, but if you need more OW, go for Dracul’s with 25 % OW.

But since I got Dracul’s they are on my trading list.

Boots:
Gore Rider are a good choice if they are upgraded.

Rings:
I use the same rings, but it’s a good idea to have rare or crafted rings to boost your resist. High resist/low absorb is always better than High absorb/low resist.

When equip dual angelic rings + amu my Dtalon AR is 29000, it’s a real hard hitter, hehe.

ok first of all ...shes only lvl 66

amulets
from lvl 67 you can use +2 asa rare amulets ... the good crafted +2 asas are lvl 89 .... maras lvl 67 aswell. other good amulets ...Cats eye for FRW and ias... Highlords ias and skill and lr.... Atmas scarab (some pubbies and leagues dont allow this or call you lame.) has chance to cast 5% amp damage it triggers at times and nice 20%ar bonus and huge 75% poison res.

Armor i find Duress the best choise for a kicker.

Helms there are 3 good ones ...but only 2 you can use now as you aint got the lvl. Shako and Guillames face CoA has lvl 82 req. It's kinda tied between CoA and Shako in my opinion +2 skills and high life boost on shako and res fhr 2 socs +1 skill a lil more DR. It's how much you value life vs the others and what you like best.

Boots I'd dump the Gore riders dispaite what everyone says is pure damage more importent from lvl 45 you can use wyrmhide boots that you can imbue and get nice res and other helpfull stats and have a higher damage hers a link (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/elite/boots.shtml) over boots req etc gore riders only got 39-83 base damage. The optimal boots is no doubt Shadow dancers.

weapons you'd need to think over your choise of weapon .... Fleshripper and a nice res shield is a cheaper option like tiamats rebuke soced with pdia or later on Stormshield with pdia.
Jade talon has bad wsm you need more ias to get best frame rate. it has -10 so u need 90 ias to get optimal frame rate 7/2/2....

you can soc in 1 shael and get 20 ias at -20 wsm you need 68 ias to optain optimal fram rate. A other way if u use Venom is to use deaths web for massive lowern the oponents poison res.

There are other ways aswell ..i try to use -30 wsm weapons greater/runic talons and phaseblades with expensive runewords or soced with runes or jewels.

as you see there are many ways and what works good for me doesnt need to work good for you.

gloves heres a good place to obtain ias either try craft,gamble,buy a pairto get ma/ias gloves with extra goodies or get some unique or set like bloodfist,sanders or laying hands. ok draculs got life tap str and ow .... but they are not always look apon like good manners to use.

rings 1 raven is kinda a must has nice ar/dex and cnbf but as second ring either absorb depending on element you are facing or res ring or bk or angelic combo.... even tho you can get a nice boost from demon limp (enchant)..

Belt Verdungo, T-Gods most common belts. Crafted blood belt will add 5-10 ow and can come out with some other really nice adds.

ok now from what i know dont OW stuck meaning if u get ow triggered it works under a certain time before you can retrigger it again. there for as a kicker with 5-7 kicks you have a very good chance of trigger it every kick round with just a Duress that has 30% ...easy math. So dont sacrifise to much to get OW to 100%.

This is a chance of making a monster bleed uncontrollably. They lose health while bleeding. Open Wounds Items stack in most cases.

Clvl=61-99: (45*Clvl-1319)/256 If you prefer per second, just multiply by 25:

raven/bk default and raven,dwarf,wisp if abs needed.

prebuff with demon limb last 11 mins then shadow claws and at times when im in pubbies cta.

anyhow this is what works best for me.

if u too poor to afford um u shouldnt be duelling... people u will be going against will be using enigma, dupes all round, anni, invent full of charms, cta, etc... u will have no chance
