Best way to level?

I was looking for a lvling guide that I've seen before but had no luck finding it. It showed the best area to gain xp for your current level. It was also color-coded. I was wondering if anyone could get me that link. Thanks.

IM(not-that-Humbly)O Denis´ guide does not work properly for high clvl in Hell difficulty.

As fare as I understand it, experience gained depends on following factors:
1. Experience value of killed monster
2. Bonuses (ex shrines, number of players in the game, Annihilus)
3. Penalities.

Penalities depends mainly on difference between clvl and mlvl - the penality increases when this difference increases. Experience gained can not be less than 1.

Denis´guide gives general (average?) penalities for acts but does not takes area lvls into consideration. In Hell difficulty you can find lvl85 areas in every act. What is true for Stony Field is not true for Pit; what is true for Bloody Foothills is not not true for Throne of Destruction.

The coloring doesn't show the optimum places to level. You have to calculate xp*percentage (and divide by 100 if ypu are a perfectionist) and the act/difficulty with the greatest number is optimum. As already said, the numbers don't distinguish between the different mlvls in the areas which becomes important in hell mode and at high character levels (90+). In addition, the increased XP for the Baal minions are not taken into consideration. In general, don't go to places which are 5 levels below your clvl and for levels 1-24, don't go to areas which are higher by 5 or more as well.

The most important part of the table is the L24 and L25 line. From that point on it pays off to visit as high areas as possible because of the reasons mentioned above, i.e. normal Baal until L40, nm Baal until L60 (although I suggest to stay here until L75 if you don't want to just stand around and leech while the others do the work) and hell Baal from that point on.

Since it breaks down each of the acts in more detail, I've been using this MF guide (http://home.t-online.de/home/320071388834-0001/games/D2X_110_MF_Guide_ENG.htm#) to decide where to level. I find the spot where the mlvl is 5+clvl. This keeps the experience penalty from kicking in.

(I play SP, so leeching is not an option.)
