Hi,

Haven't played the game since mid 2002. Don't have any intention on returning. Just passing by and thought some of you might be interested in reading a guide I wrote over 2 years ago. Wasn't sure if it'd been posted anywhere on the boards, or if it'd been stored anywhere for members to read, so here it is: http://www.geocities.com/shadowjinn/omni-knight

I browsed the past 20 or so pages back and have seen quite a few familiar names (Garb_the_weak, -Tempus-, GH_Fondary(sp?) to name a few) Hi guys!

very well written guide. but unfortunetely it is a bit outdated (esp on the item section)
due to the massive amounts of new items such as enigma hoto etc. it makes this guide very ahrd to follow. also there is a syngry for foh now which you can acheive optimal damage using a calculator or something.

new dueling classes... many now actually hehe. like the wind druid which can render a v/t useless =/

Wind druids can't handle smite very well. Druids in human form always have FHR problems.

ya i'm still here, but just i dont post much anymore.

nice guide that will work well in 1.09 but so much has changed in 1.10 that it would need more info to work as well in 1.10

also since holy shock adds to FOH dmg you need to pick what skill you would want to use more and then put points there.

True it's a bit out dated but it's a well written guide and obviously some good thinking was put into it.

yes ive realized this too and i have some difficulty with pure smiters with my windy (due to dysnyc charge so i dont really know where he really is heh)
but a v/t would have a lower smite damage if i am correct.

smite can be a problem for the druid if he's against multiple opponents. The thing is the druid never has to get close enough to get smited and he can just tele on top with minion stack 2-3 nados it's gg v/t. with 5k+ life the druid won't go down easily.

yes i never mentioned minion stack because just as mehates stated i usually lose then from a trapper, then the smiter comes :P -_______-;;

tell me what you use and how you duel against melee pals. cuz I don't think i'd ever lose to a melee pal with windy even If i didn't tele and my druid only has 20 fhr and 4.7k damage. If you are losing to melee pallies in 1on1 either your char or connection is bad or you are doing something wrong or a combination of the above.

edit: oh if you are talking about x vs 1 and you are getting mbed and trapped just cry until the trapper leaves. They are evil against wind druids unless you have really godly gear or run away all day.

Hey, Ragnarod! It's been a while. How's it going these days?

I'm fine, just that I don't have internet connection on weekdays, so I've stopped playing d2 online and I just kill time occasionally with single player :p I don't visit these forums as often either, but I like checking them from time to time, and saying hi to the old faces that pop by on occasions ;)
