10x 290, the rest 100's or 175's, 6 x32020, 15 al res gc, 13 res all gc..

i tested this set up and everyone gets pissed off at me at dueling games..but the thing is, i feel this is the best bad mannered setup..

maybe ethreal zod astereons would be better?..or maybe black horns...any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated

Nah, try something like this:

doom war spike
exile
engima (gotta be able to tele on top of those pesky runners)
gore riders
verd
1 bk ring, 1 raven frost (keep 2 20% wisps for foh)
berber coa
dracs (more ow and lt cant be bad)

Let your merc use an upped riphook, 160/60, 120/45. If they use hammers, accuse them of being an ebayer. Or you could not waste time and just start nking the melee palas with your nec in melee duel games.

BM melee is pointless. You will still suck vs casters, and no melee will duel you.

I don't know about you guys on but on ladder I notice every other melee game created also has some sort of doom zerker axe. That being either a pally,barb, and even a wolf with his rabies setup. I created a jabazon and it just can't compete with such bm setup unless they are really stinky.

Ok back on topic if you want to really BM melee just get yourself a smiter with Eth Lacerator + Upraded Zak flash holyfreeze before going to the zealot(I assume) once he is slowed smite+fan and go to town. :p

Why eth lacerator? Wasn't it proven that eth doesn't add to smite dmg. Wouldn't a normal lacerator do the same then?

Doom sucks *** with zeal, I don't care about fighting people that use it. Its just annoying when they stand around with their Doom out slowing people they aren't fighting

dunno about that. I don't really mind dueling "bm" melee with my good gm melee chars. Of course they have a huge advantage over me unless I use ww barb but can't expect everyone to play the game the same way still i managed to win most of the time against life tap,holy freeze,amp,etc. Also bm melee chars (non-ww) can still do well against most casters just not decent hammerdins and necros.

so what exactly is this post for? don't we usually try to encourage manner duels? why not use a manner duel char to make those bm chars look bad...more fun imo.

Because as long as they are using legit items in the game they can have different definitions for gm and bm items.

I think doom is horrible as a zealot wep. Most of them bm the most. Cause the durabiliy runs out and they nk and nk and gold steal just to repair their doom. They they cry when they die and when their gold gets taken back.

I just don't like range 1 weapons for smiting but that's just me.

Yeah...it replenishes its quantity though, so its ok to use an eth one.
