low level setup

I'm starting a fanatic ranger so i don't have my main skill until level 30.

leveling is terrible, my damage sux, my swing speed sux, my shooting speed sux

Anyone have any ideas for a good setup I can use 'cause this is getting old real fast...

shael/max rune bow may work to your advantage, although without the benefit of 0skill GA, it's gonna be tough! (especially getting decent AR -___-")

so what... twitch, deaths g/b, mmm gob toe? ... if you can find an old-school "grinding" mod circlet or maybe just ed/ar 3os helm and then angels with fine charms of sust and scint. charms of inertia/balance may work for pub duels and pvm, although the expense may far outweigh the overall effectiveness of such a build.

cheesy would be to craft a safety suit for your char and he'll be invulnerable for normal except for bosses. Get one of your other chars to craft a Khalim's flail for you and you'll rule normal and you should be good until lvl 30.

You'll find a lot of full sigon's people... I just walked around with full angelics and it should be pretty awesome once I add full Hsaru's to it. The safety craft rules norm though. Hit power is fun only if you get a second CTC mod on it.

I transfered over a rare gladius (11-48 damage, very fast) and a Zephyr arbalest 18-35. we'll see how this goes. but on my next paladin i'm definitely going to pimp him out with crafteds, rares, and socketeds (3 topaz wirt's leg is nice). I also find that full Horadric Staff is good for act 1.

Grab an enchantress or make one. They are invaluable additions to you character library. Just at lvl 51 (less than an hour to get there) using pcrown, 3 fire skill ammy, hexfire + lidless or "Leaf", magi, silks or que hegans.. you have around 1500 fire dmg to chant a lvl 1 char. This is currently my hc chanter on east.. anytime i need a char built, or building for someone, i chant myself, and off to the races... you'll be lvl 30 in less than 30 mins.
