Zeal or sacrifice maxed?

Hi,

For a zealot: what's better 4 Zeal/Max sacrifice or Max Zeal/some sacrifice?

Um....Both. for a fanatic zealot, you want maxed Zeal/Fanatacism/Sacrifice/Holy shield/Defiance.

I'd say Zeal first, then Sacrifice... you need a high level Zeal unless you can completely ignore defense (which you can't... even ITD doesn't work against bosses and other players).

But yeah, definitely max both.

EDIT: Well, max both, unless you're making a build that doesn't focus on physical damage (frostadin, tesladin, elemental zealot, etc.)

I made the following buils: max fana, max holy shield, max smite and I dont really have enought points to max both...

Well, I'll change my question: max which one first?

From you answers it looks like it should be zeal but but sacrifice brings more ED?

You maxed Smite? Why not just make him a Smiter? All you have to do now is max Defiance, for the defense bonus to Holy Shield.

lol ya man just make him a smite no use in tryin to make him a good zealot bc u would need to max both and u cant only max one bc the zeal skill brings more hits and ar but the sacrafice skill brgs more dam thats the only way ur gana b a good zealot so just do smite and make a new pally zealot

Hm, there reason I didnt make him a pure smiter is that I didnt want to kill every monster in the game one by one using smite. I use zeal as an all around skill to take down groups of monsters and smite for bosses and dclone.

On top of that, I wanted to experiment, not to follow a standard template.
