does sanctuary work with shields ??
would it b viable 2 build an 'undead smiter' for MF runs int the cryp and mausoleum ??

I don't see why it shouldn't but maybe you can test it for us since no one appears to know the answer anyway.

If You meant that, then it works ONLY on Shields, and yes it works in Pally Shields, Which would add to any +skills +ress in it.

I think he's thinking of sanctuary the skill's enhanced damage vs undead working in smite which I admit I haven't tested before.

He's definitely asking about the skill Sanctuary, and whether it would work with Smite. I haven't a clue. Never used either...
Well, I did use Sanctuary a few times, but that's only cause I wanted to see what happened, and only before getting Fanaticism.

this could be tested on zombies in the blood moor if anyone feels like testing..

I messed around a little bit, completely unscientific of course, but it seems to take as long to smite a fallen to death as it does to smite a zombie to death, here's what I did

Patriarch LoD-Pally
20 smite
20 holysheild
20 sanctuary
20 defiance for synergy ;)

stats for gear. zombies move slow enough you don't need life.

long sword for speed
ancient sheild for smite damage
belt to hold my pants up

tested in hell blood moor,players 1

i'll have to look up some numbers and come back to this...
