USeast vs USwest hardcore community

I'm just getting back into D2 after about a six month "break" (can you ever really quit?). Anyway, it seems things have changed and i was wondering if it would be advisable to switch from West to East..i can't tell what the community is like because i can't see the nm/hell games with my new character yet, and don't want to waste the time if west turns out to be lame. Any feedback would be appreciated.

It depends on your area, as the lag may pile up if you connect to a server thats far away...

I play on East also. Can't really comment on the community though cause I haven't been back long myself either. That and I pretty much always play in private games. Public games seem to be a thing of the past with all the tppk and hostile anywhere crap that's going on lately.

I'm in Wisconsin (god help me), and i have 3 mbps DSL service so I really can go either way.

If you use the trade forum as a judge there are usually a lot more threads from East. But TPPK seems to be more active there also, but really it is active anywhere but Asia. East to me was always more populated than West in Classic or Xpac from my exp.

Yeah east has quite a few people on it. If/when you start on east ladder give me a whisper at *Edeas_Knight(L)

btw dont be scared of tppk, just be carefull and notice the ppl around you, i havent been pked once in L#2 tho couple of attempts early on

I play on east and met some cool people. I haven't gotten pked for the longest time too. Not any lag for me either except for random spikes :scratch: .
