If they use leap/throw, u use widow. Time your steps VERY well. Try to catch them right at the end of whirls. Don't try to corner camp. Always keep moving, circling them looking for the quick dart in and out. Get high crushing as well.

It DEFINATELY can be done. I have beaten a lot of well known barbs, more so than I have beaten top zealots :)

ya shift zeal is the best way esp if the barb is dual weild. one wiht a shield then most likely they will win

But you absolutely MUST have that range 3 weapon. Death Cleaver, Stormlash, eBotD Berserker, whatever. The only time I ever consistently killed WW barbs was when I had my Fury Scourge. Now all of my weapons are range 2 and I might as well strip off all of my armor and try to punch them to death.

i say shift zeal is the way to go but u need to be able to beat them any way with good dmg and def so u can win with a better char :winner:

As stoutwood already said, fury (in range 3 weapons) works well vs ww barbs. If a death cleaver is available to you, you can use that too.

yeah, draculus works too but people consider life tab bm.

If your pally is a brick, just don't try to chase them. my paladin wins 9/10 duels against ww's by just not moving. Slap em once with a smite as they go by and quickly zeal, that works wonders too.

If you gear >>>>>> 99% of all barbs obviously you'll beat them easily.

It's not better than most barbs by a long shot. However, massive defense and a range 3 weapon is a sure formula for success against ww barbs. That's one instance where I would consider using Exile.

what i do vs most ww barbs, is to walk away. usually they ww in the direction i am about to go, since im walking away usally i shift zeal them as their ww animation stops. the usual reponse is to ww through me which after i walk the opposite direction and i repeat process.
