I read the liberator guide, but there seems to be many way to build a liberator. For instance is enigma the best choice for armor when vipermagi, stealth or que hegans grant fast cast allowing helping one get 75+ FCR without switching weapons. Good cast rate without switching weapons allows one to have CTA on switch which should more than offset the stats lost from enigma.

I'm curious what gear people use for their liberators, please brag about your gear and why you chose it! I'm all ears...

my libby guide is severly out dated, mainly cuz i dont play libby any more. But here is a mini update i guess..

Weapons, Eth or non Eth dc are good so is razor edge.

and i know i dont have Fcr on it. thats intentional. you do not need it for a duel, cuz i dont really spam hammers left and right like 90% of hammerdins.

instead learn to place hammers at the right moment, its far better and more devious

there are tons of ways to make a libby, all are good, just some have other things that mine doens't.

mine didt have defense, cuz since you have charge and u probably run most of the time defense is futile anyhow. so why not aim for more damage / ar then tons of defense.

lovely this is somewhat related to liberators

did your lib have lots of mana? did he use cta? just wondering because it seems like mana would be an issue. and since you ahve weapon switch bo would be an issue too rite?

It's best if you have at least 600+ mana. It shoudn't be a problem if you use bo.

Out of curiosity, what class(es) do you play these days? As for the issue of FCR, I'm not planning on spamming hammers, but the faster you can drop a hammer and move on (considering the dmg output of most oponents in 1.10) the better.

I guess I'll start this off:

(I was going to build after Brian's build but I noticed that it's outdated so I went a ahead and used what I thought would be best)

Ber Shako
Ber HoZ x2
Wiz spike
botd zerk
enigma
verdungo
bloodfist
waterwalk
Maras
soj
ravenfrost

nothing special but it works for me,currently at 11k hammer and 11K charge with close to 2,5k life using combats.

don't forget ethereal fleshripper. It is also a nice libby weapon.

Well here is what I'm thinking gear wise...

-Shako
-Maras
-Viper
-death cleaver
-HOZ or multi ort/thul depending on matchup
-CTA and sigons on switch
-verdungoes or Tgods depending on matchup
-ravenfrost and soj/BK depending on if I want mana or life
-magefist or trangs
-whatever boots... gores, walks, rares, crafts, probably use this to make up whatever resist or FHR I need.

The DC doesn't do as much dmg as many weapons, but the DS will help a lot. Perhaps I should Lo it for a cool 86% DS on weapon alone. This setup hit 10 frame casting, goods resist and if I ber the crap out of it, near full DR. Seems logical to me, I like not having to switch weapons. I'm not sure if they 1.09 weapon switch desync bug has been fixed, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

depending on ur skill setup and ur weapon/charge damage.

it might be advantagous to charge using blessed aim if ur using that particular setup. your ar would be alot higher.

or just wait till ur opponent move, or in a jog, you hit alot more if they move.
