I don't get why people make chars made for beating caster or for melee chars. If u made a kicksin for caster but she no good for melee chars then that means u be running from zealots and barbs. Then if u make a char for melee chars then when u duel some lvl 60 orb sorc using a staff she will beat ya cuz u have bad resist. I allways make chars that can beat all bulids ( no I don't win every duel )
or can't beat a couple of builds. I had some friends who had trouble beating sorcs and I said look man just slap on some abosrb and resist and do anya quests and u will do much better so my friend dose that and I'm watching him beat a really good fireball sorc. :surprise:

Lmao most nercos beat wind druids then again a lot of wind druids don't get resist or abosrb cuz they think their cycole will tank it all for dem. This is 100% wrong fireball sorcs will destory their cyole armor in secs. Once again I told a friend who had a wind druid to use resist and some absorb so he did that gusse what??!! he did a lot better :thumbsup: Like I said u can do alot better in duels if u make a char that can beat any build or execpt a couple of builds. And it's not a bad idea to try different gear setups and dueling tactics never know what can happen

Sorry but it's a fact that some classes get owned by other classes unless huge difference in skill gear.

I'd like to see zealot consistently beat hammerdin

I'd like to see pure FoH consistently beat Wind Druid

I'd like to see WW sin consistently beat a WW barb

So next time your melee'r dies in 1 hammer or your FoHer does 0 dmg to windy, ask yourself, do you really want to duel again?

As for WHY people use these builds, it's because it's fun. Sure you can kill these classes without even trying with some builds, but would it be fun to use only 2-3 builds that don't have a huge weakness?

if the new patch was to come tommorrow could u see how many people would be crying :hanky: about their nerco not being the best dueling char or wind or people who say noob ur hacked when his hammerin dosen't kill people in 1 or 2 hits anyway I do see why people make these guides now u gotta say a charge pally can't kill a ww barb but he can 1 hit ok a sorc , trapsin , nerco ,and some other chars :thumbsup: .


P.S. my pally can kill hammerins , wind druids and bone or posin nercos even wwsins but it's not a easy duel and I don't allways win

i have never copied a full build with exact gear and skillpoints... whereas those necros/druids/hammerdins are almost identical twins.

Yes you have. I know for sure every single build you have made has been made EXactly as you have made it. Keep in mind the sheer amount of people playing diablo 2 and deal with it. The gear thing I somewhat agree with, since I don't like using duped rares due to the lack of style :( I will not however cripple myself just so I don't copy someone else.
