Fire or Lightning?

New to the forums, and had a question between Fire and Lightning.

I mostly want to do mass cow runs, over mfing meph or what not. Would Fire be better for this? Seems like Lightning is geared towards one cow at a time. :scratch:

LS for first couple of kills then death sentry (CE) - so lightning.

Wake of Inferno is bugged anyway , and does less dmg then displayed. Same happens for Inferno and Artic blast btw. And wake of fire isn't all that great for pvm , the dmg on it just doesn't cut it.

Also , you forgot 1 really importent thing about lightning sentry , it pierces. So eventhough it's targeted against 1 monster , all monsters behind it get dmg aswell. Combine this with the fact that you can get over 10k max dmg with lightning sentry , and can lay down 5 traps means you can do quite some lightning dmg per second. Ofcourse if your equipment isn't all that great you won't hit 10k dmg , but around the half or so. But even then it's still quite some dmg.

That being said, lightning is still better. If you want a fire skill, then add 18-20 into Fire Blast. It synergizes with all the elemental traps, so you can get powerful skills in both lightning and fire. On top of that, it gives you something to do while your traps are working.
