Chain Lightning/Hydra sorc???

20 Fire Mastery
20 Chain Lightning
20 Lightning Mastery

Everything else in 1pt wonders, prereqs and fireball.

Would it be any good in soloing hell? What kinda build would you recommend around hydra?

You will want points in Lightening mastery also.

Rather something like this:

20 Fireball
20 Hydra
1 Fire Mastery

15 Lightning
20 Chain Lightning
5 Lightning Mastery

about +12 skills

Than you should be able to do fine. After prerequisites and 1pt woners the rest of your points should go into Firebolt for added Fireball and Hydra synergy.
I think you can make it through to hell and back if you Solo and that only in 1p games. Baalruns with a group are possible ofcourse when you just use Static Field and the skills as backup for the other players. You will not be a major killer in those games though.

Definitely not a common build, but I'm thinking it will be actually ok provided you have good enough gear to do some dam to hell monsters with 2 split skill tree skills that aren't exactly known for their earth shattering dam... A good merc will definitely help. Good Luck! :thumbsup:
