3 items that can be socketed, and no idea! I have no problem with resistances, but the damage could be higher. But I doubt if 38% ed jewel will add much dmg onto the bow. Shael, nef? What into the diadem, armor? Any suggestions are welcome.

i remember that, i had a mavinazon once, didnt like her very much, maybe it was just me.
Well if you went the Ice arrow route ( cant recall which skill was which) cold facets would be a good idea. Mavs isnt really a physical damage set
I wouldnt waste on facet for mavaina zon.

Well- I like this char, partly because no one else seem to like it :). She's unusual, and full sets are sexy. She's a frostmaiden/strafe build, lvl 81. I use her for countess/mausoleum/ancient tunnels runs. So far she kills very well, but I'm thinking about further acts.
Played a M'av zon and loved her :)
I would probably go for IAS and SHAEL in the items to reach the fastest possible Strafe speed. I think I was wearing a Highlords with her.
But since last ladder is so long ago, I have forgotten all about the Strafe speeds on a zons :scratch:

The IAS that's already on M'avina is "just enough" so that shaeling the bow and using two 15% IAS jewels gets you over some breakpoint.
I don't remember whether the Shael can be replaced with an IAS jewel.
Okay...looks like for M'avinas Caster (being a [10] bow) you need
89 IAS to reach 9/3 Strafe and
120 IAS to reach 9/2.
40 on bow, 30 on Diadem = 70
+Highlords or Cats eye 20 = 90 = 9/3 Strafe
So (unless I overlooked something) you need 30 more IAS to hit the necessary BP for 9/2 Strafe.
If you use another ammy, like Eye of Ettlich (great for a Frostmaiden) or Atmas, you do need Shael and 2 IAS jewels to get 9/2 Strafe.

Good idea det! She uses highlords. I like to strafe (for nice animation and cute sound she's doing :P), and I feel it could be a tad faster - so I'll choose shael+1 ias jewel. Also strafing makes her leech back the mana quite fast, and frezing arrow is huge mana eater. Thk for comments guys
Etlich is superkewl for added freeze duration.

I know - but I have quite a few cold dmg sc's, some with nice second mods, like resists - and really, monsters are frozen for +-4 seconds i think. t's enough 4 me

i intend to Mav my Bowa, sure its not an impressive Physical damage set but it is nice for Cold attacks, and Strafe is fun. Mine will also be Freezing/Strafe. I will most likely got for speed in my set, speed is a key with a Strafer so you can get out of Strafe lock faster and move when the chit hits the fan!

Well here I had shaeled the bow, ias jeweled the rest, and picked highlords amulet. Looks like I overdid it!
You can still exchange the ammy for an Eye of Ettlich or Atmas or Maras :)

i totaly agree ias rules on a mavina zon :clap:

Wouldn't even know how to get maphack :)
I actually didn't socket it, that was the reason, :lol: , guess lag had to do with it, it sometimes happens when I id items at cain: when I don't hear the sound, they remain unided. I forgot that when you socket the item, it goes back to the inventory, not your head for example :P. And I kept pulling the jewel over my head. Hey, it was late....
Didnt mean any offense I just see alot of it. Most people dont even know its a function of MH.

Now i noticed i had only 1 socket quest left, and cannot reach the breakpoint :lol:
