Currently I'm doing Pit runs with my lvl 86 Javazon. She can manage it in around 7-8 mins, that including finding the damn place
I was just wondering if a Strafer would be more effective, since there are no physical immune monster down there. The Java does just fine, frying them all, but when the light immune shows up, it's a pain

I have a hybrid that I use. You should be able to run it faster than 7 or 8 minutes because it's easy to find, just follow the path. Strafers are fast, but LS and fury really clean house in a hurry. Hybrid is really the way to go as they are much more entertaining to play. One point in strafe with upped WWS of WF and you have a strafer javazon hybrid!

Aight, nice. But I feel kinda goofy, but I must ask: Which skills do you use on a Hybrid? :innocent:

Skills:
20 LF
20 Strafe
20 Penetrate*
17 Valk**
1 into each pre req and 1 into the rest of the passives.
*base penetrate is a possibility but I am too lazy to bother swapping out a Demon Limb every time I start a new game.
** I usually max Valk and decided to try her at slvl 17 for a change – more can be added here as desired.
i did a build on this, search the forums for "dexabrid"
Some bits u can ignore if u want, like the base vita etc, but that thread pretty much covers it.

Here is my build:
20 CS
20 LS
20 LF
5 LB
17 valk (with gear)
1 point GA, MS, strafe
1 point utility skills, a couple in penetrate
all further points dumped into DAE skills
My gear:
-Andies 15 IAS
-highlords
-enigma
-titans
-storm shield (um)
-WF
-t-gods
-raven frost and a duel leech/resist ring
-LOH
-aldurs boots
-anni, gheeds, passive charm and life/resist/mf charms
I use a migh merc with reapers toll...
I have 1250 life, near full resists in hell with 85% LR, I have 3k LS, 3.2k x 9 CS, 1.8k fury and I'm not to sure about my bow dmg but it's something like 3k guided and 2.4k multi. I'm considering swapping out the LOH for lavagouts as my AR isn't stellar and the enchant would as 101% AR. I may explore other bow options such as upped WWS. I need to crunch some number and figure out if my dmg with WWS (shael nef or shael jah) would be adequate without using dmg charms. The resists, amp, DS and 2 frame strafe make it very attractive if dmg is adequate. My end solution may be jah WF to keep high dmg and solve all AR problems but unfortunately only have an 3 frame strafe and 9 frame MS/GA and switch to some 20% IAS, +2 jav, fire resist gloves. Even with less than outstanding AR, she still kills quite well with her bow, I simply want to maximize her efficiency.
Basically you use LS most of the time with occasional furies when the enemies are dense enough and CS on large tough monsters. The lightning skills are massively overpowered so the onlytime you use your bow it to clean up LI leftovers that you merc and valk are still working on. LS can be a bit buggy and miss sometimes, but not enough to pose a large problem and you can clean the screen and beyond with this skill. It also conserves mana nicely with its cost of 9 and sustained arcing. I don't need to talk about fury, it rocks, and with the extra 45% dmg from the synergies it rocks even more but it burns mana! CS strike drops bosses fast because all the bolts hit, when combing with a bit of crushing blow on your merc, act bosses last seconds.
All in all I'm very happy though I'm probably going to make a sorc for rushing/running worldstone and chaos sanct as black souls and oblivion nights can be annoying. You can use a bow to take out oblivion nights, but you merc goes down frequently. Black souls are just annoying because you can't leech off them, they drain mana and their dmg is large. Lets face it, no class likes dealing with black souls and oblivion knights, the best solution is to teleport past them instead going through them.
I highly recommend this build, it survives very well, has good MF potential and doesn't get stale. With 7 strong attacks (GA, MS, strafe, jab, CS, LS and LF) it's much more fun to play than a blizzard sorc or hammerdin.
Another possible variant which I use myself is:
20 FA
20 LF
20 ChS
17 Valk
The rest in Pierce/CS and possibly Penetrate or you could pump a synergy for FA for more cold damage.
This build takes care of LI's very easily, as well as putting the freeze on them, which is a plus when it comes to LI Archer packs with a Boss with mods like Amp Damage or might etc.
Basically LF everything, FA everything that is immune to LF, and ChS for tough Bosses.
This char runs the Pit very easily, and with FA, even the WSK is do-able...though as always, proceed cautiously when there's Gloams around.

I am planing a similar build:
20 CA
20 FA
20 LF
17 Valk (almost there)
I am lvl74 now and doing ok in Hell Act1. Any suggestion for FA/LF hybrid gears? (especially for MF :P)
I am wearing Shako, rare glove with +2 bow skill and MF, Naltaya boot (resist), and Orphan belt (dual leech) now. Wep is Lycander's aim, and titan/wall of the eyeless (don't laugh). My problem now is I have pretty bad resist (barely postive light/fire but negative cold/poison resist). Should I try to get a skullder for more MF/+1 skill or get a tal armor for huge resist/MF?
Thanks!

Hmmmm...
You need some serious gear swapping me thinks. The lack of IAS and resist is a big problem. The best armor for javazons is enigma (if you can pull decent resist elsewhere). The skills, MF, r/w, dmg to mana and life per kill are very very very helpful and of course teleport helps your mobility. With enigma, you are still stuck with IAS/resist issues.
Sanctuary and mosers are two good options for resists. Kiras is another option for resist. Max resist isn't necassary due to the passives, but it's very very helpful in hell. You can get away with crap cold and poison resist (with raven frost) as long you have decent fire and lightning resists.
