View Full Version : Strategy vs AutoAim hammerdin?

I was playing my necro to practice but this guy obviously was using AutoAim to kill me so I had to bring my hammerdin to take care of him.


The thing is I know you expert bone necros know how to defeat AA can you please tell me the secret?

One thing a friend showed me is to use IBS to your advantage. What he would do is teleport outside the minimap view of the other person and spam spirits. He would then tele to where the spirits would end up. Normally most AAers would land on top of you. When this happens, he would get hit by IBS.

My friend did this against an AA druid and beat him effortlessly. I would imagine that it works against AA hammerdins as well.

Yeah, how do they auto-aim? Click on you and hold on?

Ditto with other advice given. Tele non-stop and spam bone spirits non-stop. Try to tele in the path of bone spirits or tele following the path of a bone spirit. You are obviously immune to the bone spirit, while he's not. And when he tried to tele on you to cast hammers, he gets creamed by the bone spirits.

Autoaim is a hack that allows you to easily target someone from almost any range, even 2 screens away, as long as they are on your minimap, commonly used with wind druids, hammerdins, bone necros, and FB/Lightning sorcs

And grim, thanks again for the donation :) I have given out most of it to poor starting players, making them very happy people :) And it has allowed me to again, take up my commando and poison summer :) Thanks again!

am i right in saying duel in corridors where the hammer spiral can't hit you if you sit in a corner?

Also bone walls help too. Well at least for me i just spam them like crazy and my walls absorb his left behind hammers so i dont run into random hammers. Also 125 fcr helps alot on this

aa hammerdins are easy if you are careful. tele around and spirit lock them real fast and it's best if they tele off screen then try to aa tele lock you from 2-3 screens away and right before or when they tele on you tele away and you'll see 304329804891204812 bone spirits hit them at once it's automatic gg. Or run south spear or spirit upward.

or mgs2 cause so many nub hackerz around today but i still play cause i need to lvl necro and pwn w/ him then get bored and quit :D.
