Bonehew or Hone Sudan ?

Oh well i found Hone Sudan in NM , and just need one more Sheal rune to socket it Sheal/Sheal/Amn . like i got the advice here .

So i was running the pit (damn still 17 unspend points :) ) and just outside there was a Carver camp and they dropped me a Bonehew ( my first Elite ) , even so only 376% ed . Question is ... should i upgrade the Hone Sudan and use the Bonehew in the meantime ... and what should i socket the Bonehew with .

Right now my Merc is using Rockstopper , and a 4perfect Topaz Armor and the Hone Sudan ... he's still a little low on Strenght to use the Bonehew. I also have found a Blackhorns face .

Please any advice what i should equip my merc with .

Whatever you do, don't upgrade the yari, or your merc won't have a weapon for ages.

Yari upgrades to Ghost Spear which has a dex requirement of 163 which is kinda steep for an act2 merc.

bonehew for damage
yari for crushing blow against high life monsters

a yari + set wing helmet + rattlecage on a a2 merc could pull you through nightmare easily

Oops 163 , good to know that . So i stash it away for some other char to use it then. Maybe if i get my hands on a Mal rune i socket the weapon Mal/Amn for prevent monster heal and life leach . Or maybe .. i got 2 Hel runes lying around .. and put them in now so at least he can start using the Bonehew .

I would use 2 hels, its decent but for hell he will need something better if you want him to actuall kill much.
