If using a bow which is more important?

Hi, I'm planning to build a character with a bow/sword on the switch. I never used a bow before so what is more important to pump when using a bow?:strength or dexterity. Also, I assume Life is important too? Thanks

While obviously life is as important if not more so than any other attribute for a bow I have found that dex tends to be more important. If you are using a melee weapon such as a sword or what not then strength tends to hold more weight in your figuring. But as I said with a bow in my experience it seems that dex is more inportant.

dex is much more important to zons thatn str, unless u plan on using big x-bows the highest str u need should be 90....however dex u want 2-300

also using a bow u wont have any block chance unlike a java so them dodge skills will need to be pretty high too, i'd recomend u get them to %50 too

use enough strength to use the bow, (for a Windforce you will need 134, other bows are lower in strength req.) and for damage pump Dex. Also consider IAS and ED.

also consider the str that you are going to get from other equipments, since you are a ranger, not many will be hitting you, so keep your vitality on the low end, besides you have mercs, valkayrie, dodge, evade...
