Well now that was fun!
I killed LoH haha they think they are still a clan but now they are like a total 100% nub clan they let people like "alec" in who has a fire sorc using eth upped lidless (haha I laughed at him about it so he switched to the possibly even pro'er non eth upped lidless) that locks certain necs with fball and then dies in 2 spears with BO on him.....
Weird... I have nothing to say, well it's my bday you should all shower me with enigmas k?
Hmm bye.
(I still think I should get to do something that would get me banned for a week to make up for me being banned for a week for "flaming" rauth)

Except that post 25 and 26 are from the same IP address. You are not the first to try this. I have dealt with many of your kind before, and I am sure I will deal with more. It onyl takes me about 10 seconds to ban you. I know it takes you a lot longer than that to create new emails and new accounts. For he is about to get you banned as well. I can make the assumption that you are the same person and ban your account. There is no way around it. Unless somehow, with the thousands of IP addresses AOL has, he dialed up, make a post, then disconnected and then you dialed up and make a post a few minutes later using the same IP. That is not by chance. The two of you had to be on the same computer. There is no way around it. So, my suggestion, if you are going to LLD make an fool of himself on your computer, you are going to get banned as well. Your choice.

I have no clue what you're talking about, since the only other person who has access to this computer is my roomy, and he doesn't play dialblo at all. I don't even know vampy that well. He hasn't been on bnet for a good month now. I have talked/dueled with him before, so it can't be my roomy either way.
Something is messed up here. If you Really think I'm vampy or we share the same computer, ban me. This is so far out of left field its not even funny. We DON'T know each other in real life, or even that well on bnet. We DON'T share the same computer, or even the same state for that matter. I live in Washington, and he lives somewhere south I forget.

Posts number 25, 26, 27, and 29, all same IP. What you think? They have lots of others that are similar. Most all of them are AOL dial up IPs. It is common that many users have similar IP's because of the dial up thing. Post #25 and #27 are Rauths, and post numbers 26 and #29 are LLD's, they both are on a dial up. Means they both had to be using the same computer or have to be the same person. If Rauth wishes to keep his account here, I am sure he will have a chat with his friend. Whether his friend is a multiple personallity or another person. The chances of this just happening are to extreme to ever happen.
Ball is in your court Rauth, but if LLD creates a new account, I ban you.
im pretty sure that there have been times that lld and rauth have posted at the exact same time. (there must have in the history)
rauth isnt some pshyco that would plan everything for the future and click both mouses at the same time just to fool people. i am also curious on how this ip thing works, i thought that everytime a dialup person logs on it changes.
Not that I'm against rauth or lld, but if lld quit the forum and was banned, how did he post in such a short time when his old thread was brought back up?
No attempts of him to come back like he did here or anything until he was mentioned by squal and then a pretty prompt answer from lld who is apparently off the forum.

Xircon: I'm not sure about AOL dialup, however, Anyone posting to this forum from my ISP will always have the same IP address because my ISP has a web proxy/cache. Even if AOL dialup does not have a proxy, there are thousands of anonymous proxy's all over the world. a search for "anonymous proxy" on google churns up 102,000 pages.
Just because 2 or 3 or 20 posts come from the same IP address dosen't mean anything. Baseing your banning/not banning on IP addresses is not exactly the most accuriate way of doing it.

Ok, I've done a bit of research and I think I have an explination:
When you dial up to AOL, you're not dialing up to the 'internet' per say, you're dialing up to AOL's own network, a network which is seperate from the rest of the 'internet'. Which is why when you connect to AOL and want to visit an 'AOL' webpage, you simply have to type in an 'AOL Keyword' .. when you go to an internet address from AOL (ex. www.rpgforums.net) you leave AOL's network from one of their networks 'proxy's'. The part that I'm not sure about is how these proxy's decide who goes where. Meaning that potentially they are random, or potentially they are based on geography .. meaning that anyone who lives in city 'ABC' will use Proxy IP xxx.xxx.xxx.YYY when they go to the internet, and people in city 'DEF' will use proxy IP xxx.xxx.xxx.ZZZ when they go to an internet address etc.
so it is very possible that 2 AOL users post here from the same IP as far as the Internet is concerned.. either way the chances are definitly not 'Too extreme to happen'
