Howdy Folks,

I've never touched a zon in my life. Not even as a mule. I'm a sorc, pali, and necro guy. Now it's time.

I hopped on single player to experiment with my zon. I have NO preferences as of yet. Please suggest some poor man's gear and skill ideas i could invest in. Thanks!

the Lightning Fury zon is an excellent poor mans zon.

Very helpful, thank you. I've read some of the guids and got a bit of info out of them. So far this is my plan:

A1 Merc, Decoy, Vulkyre. I've still got my necro spirit LOL, as many minions as possible ;)

The other thing is, I'm having trouble deciphering between bow/xbows (I don't want to go into spears.)

Thanks for the tip though, I know some buds with titans, it may help :)

Hmm, VERY interesting.... Passion (http://www.diabloii.net/items/runes/runewords/passion.php) states that it gives you lvl 1 zeal. Can I use Zeal with my bow (fire 5 arrows like zeal?) Or would I just use strafe instead?

i'd just use strafe :D, tho i have never tried a passion bow

i'd also reconsider an act1 merc, act2 mercs are the general choice, with an act5 barb being a distant second for those that need to be different.

... Does the berserk on passion work? (with bow). If it did, that would be awesome.

IIRC, no paladin combat skills work with bows. So, no charge, no smite, no zeal, no sacrifice, etc :P

nope they will not work...they will jsut show up as red when you select them
