Amen to that man, he had so many good roles...
"I tell ya I get no respect from anyone. I bought a cemetery plot. The guy said, 'There goes the neighborhood!'"

Damn, how'd it happen? Pretty much ruins my day.
He had been in real bad shape for a number of months, he had heart problems and complications arose from the surgery and he lapsed into coma. He regained concsiousness earlier this week . Too bad he had been under the radar for so long and didnt come back till he died

A tribute to Rodney,
"When I was born I was so ugly, that the next day my mother still had morning sickness" - Rodney

Loved him in Caddy Shack.
...and yet there was Ladybugs o.O
I think he is best remembered by numerous classic self-deprecating two liners. His body of film work is pretty hit and miss. He was an original however and even his worst work still had some funny moments.

Rodney who?
Dangerfield.
Tribute to RD by listing his one liners. "When I was born I was so ugly that the doctor slapped my mother instead of me."

Rodney who? :scratch:If you don't know him from things mentioned in other posts, perhaps you will know from his Simpson's cameo, he was Mr. Burn's son and instead of "no respect" he got "no regard" and Homer fake kidnapped him to try and make Mr. Burns love him, etc.
Better to be remembered for a Simpson's cameo than being remembered because of "oh, that guy from that Chapelle sketch".
