im pretty noobish and i was just wondering if this type of build would work: u use cleglaws claws (slow target 25%) and riphook (slow target 30%) and any other items which have slows target, then u have some additional cold damage
so basically u just slow everything to the point where things can barely move .. lol
i guess u would use strafe also, and mab a holy freeze merc or something? :howdy:

Conceptually I think that's a good idea, but I believe slow target is capped at a certain percentage. I also don't know how practical it would be since riphook, even upgraded, would have piss-poor damage.
From a fun standpoint I think it sounds like a cool thing.
If you were to do it, I'd go all out and get a holy freeze merc with a kelpie snare weapon.

This sounds like a cool build. Maybe a Slow-Mo-Azon. Nothing on the Arreat Summit suggests that slows target is capped for monsters. (PvP it's capped at 50%)
I'd use a Cleglaws Claws and Nosferatu coil, but skip the Riphook, they might be slowed down more but :grrr: you won't be able to kill anything with it in Hell.
Good luck sounds cool.
Riphook is a VERY fun bow. Get a nice %damage 1 and upgrade it n add some cold damage and I think you would be suprised how fast it actually kills. Get some ias and some crushing blow n it may kill decently (not as fast as wws, windforce or something else but at a decent rate). It almost sounds amusing enough for me to try.
