Ok here goes...I'm remaking ALL my characters, and each has to be PERFECT!!

so here I am, down on my knees, begging everyone to join in and help out

I want everyone's opinion on what I should do down to the last stat point...

This Barbarian is going to be a ww/Berzerker, gear, stat points, skills, ways to deal with immunes, staying alive, pvp, pvm, and such, all appreciated..

I can afford decent gear like Chains of Honor, but please list secondary choices just in case I cannot afford them

thanks alot and if you know anything about other characters, check it out here:

Gmoura's ww guide (http://www.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=191483)

That guide has done all the hard work for you. It's got gear/stat/skill suggestions, pvp strategy, etc. The posts in that thread following the guide also contain a lot of excellent info.

Basically with a single point in berserk and the shout dmg synergy, you will not have a problem with 99% of the immunes in the game. There is only one character in the game that is both magic and physical immune all the time, the horadrim ancients that spawn in hell worldstone keep. For those monsters, all you have to have is a reaper's toll (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/elite/upolearms.shtml) on your act 2 merc to rid yourself of the physical immunity with its insane ctc decrepify.

Go ahead and take a search through this forum as ww is a much-discussed (almost daily) topic. Most of the discussions are repeated many times over in other discussions, so you shouldn't have trouble finding more in-depth info.

Once you've done a search, if you have any other questions go ahead and post back here with them. I figure you'll have a much better idea of what you need though.

It really depends on what you can and can't afford in gear, that really makes the difference other wise they're can't be any "perfect build" because gear and items are and can be situational.

There is a really comprehensive WW guide comming from Rik I think and another (sorry having a blonde moment I can't remember who or who else was making it ) But Iwould wait for the before you working on anything and if your ladder or nonladder, start working on the gear you need, or examine what level your build will be finished, quests and gear you can afford and can't afford.

Best I can do is give you a rough idea of what I would do for a WW barb.
My self I would do this..

Perfect eth carapace with a Pul Rune. (req 230str)
Stormshield (req 156str) *adds 30str*
Arreats (req118str) *adds: 20str 20dex*
steelrends (req 185) *adds 20str*
Perfect Eth Sandtreks *adds 15str 15vit*
Verdungo *adds 40vit *
BoTD 380 ED Zerker/cb or a Death Cleaver (DC Req 138str)
Angelic Amulet
Angelic Ring
BK Ring*/Raven Frost

Charms

Annuilus (+10-+20 all attributes) **
Min/Max - Ar or 3/20/20s (on nl they aremass duped so generally frowned upon to have em)
but you can still get by with charms with fine steel and anything with +pr/20life I dont know about anywhere else but uswest ladder is a psn haven I dont know anyone who isn't carrying a small collection of toxic small charms

* BK ring because it gives more life +1 skills but this is assuming u can get a cham rune for your SS or Arreats whatever might be more convient. If you can cham something that also means triple the AR with a 2nd Angelic ring too if you cannot afford a BK ring

** a +20 anni is pretty hard to get that isn't enwrapped in a scam of some kind so realistically i'd say +10

You'd need a base of atleast 110str though with the above gear.
110str then + from anni thats 120 then 15 more from treks so thats 135
That will be enough to wear Arreats which is another 20. Thats total of 155
That will fit your botd...another 30 comming to 185 for Stormshield which bring you too about 215 for Steelrends adding another 20str and atotal 235 just enough for Eth Carapace.

The rest of the stats can go towards getting max block and vitality.
To make max block easier, I dont know how many people would agree with this but adding a ELD rune to your SS is a possiblity.
After that its all to vitality.
Skill points vary depending on your style of dueling, BVB I personally would go
20 WW 20shout 20bo 20Weapon mastery 20Iron Skin. Although 10 ironskin might be enough since you'll have ton of defense already. and with Stormshield + verdungo your already 50% DR theny ou can use nat resist or WAr Cry or something.

These are just examples mostly Im talking out of my *** because I've never really had a perfect barb for bvb just ones that can kill and live best he can someones always gunna have something better way I see it.

The only thing I would argue is the BK ring. I used to be a big supporter of it as well, but since the life bonus isn't affected by BO, it's not as powerful. Raven is generally better for the ar, absorb, cold damage, and the 20 dex (which can save you 20 for blocking, meaning you can put it into vitality for around 160 life after BO).

Ahhh thats a good point, honestly I didn't realise it didn't stack with bo at all. Bleh. well that saves you a rather expensive item anyway ><
nod I'd stick with raven then .

the +1 to skills is attractive nevertheless. For a ww barb,It means 13% more ed,13% ar,20% defense,3% life, resists, longer cry durations.Since its for pvm, leech will be handy as well.I still use BK on all my pvm whirlers apart from angelic. For pvp use absorb/resist rings like raven or dual angelics for bvb.

No worries Shaft, I was under the same impression until we started testing it out a lot last year.

Also, as a side note to the original poster: though I am not very strict about it, some of the other mods become greatly irritated when a thread is posted in multiple forums, as it's against the ToS and technically classifies as spamming. You might wanna restrict it to one build a week, maybe two. One in each forum really irks some of the other members of the moderator pantheon though.

I think Hal means when all the moderators get together, they become a building in Rome. :innocent:

Look up pantheon (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=pantheon).

Look up pantheon (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=pantheon).
1. Pantheon A circular temple in Rome, completed in 27 B.C. and dedicated to all the gods.
2. A temple dedicated to all gods.
3. All the gods of a people considered as a group: Jupiter is head of the Roman pantheon.

Hmm, either a temple or a group of gods. Knowing hal, I'd say option nr2 !

You only showed the first three definitions, HoD; I was going with option 5:

5. A group of persons most highly regarded for contributions to a field or endeavor: the pantheon of modern physics.

;)
