IK-barb question

Hi. Im just about to starting off with a IK-barb ( ww ). The level reqs for the
maul is 76 so i need some decent mid-level weapon. I came up with the
idea of socketing 2x baranars with hel runes and is just wondering if the
runes will make the level requierments drop drasticly enough :scratch:

blood letters are quality for mid range - dual them and you can have +6 to WW

They are a great choice IMO

damn..I thought it was the ik maul breakpoint question..we havent had those for a while. :yawn:

Anyway..use shaeled hwanins bill,blood letter or crainte vomir for nightmare.Socketing hel runes doesnt drop the level requirements,just the stat requirements.

Or just sit there and leech off 8 player hell baal games. I like my IK Barb (6k damage), no doubt about that. But to be honest, Baal games wise, me wwing or not doesn't make much difference. You can't kill fast enough. That's unless you have non-legit charms :scratch:

Btw, this is compared to the typical hammerdin, trapsin, blizzard sorc etc.

If he's using the IK Maul, chances are he'll be investing in Mace Mastery, which wouldn't make Swords or Poleaxes good choices. I use an up'd Steeldriver for mid-level and its always been good for me.

I used an upped Steeldriver and a rare lvl 51 ogre maul afterwards (+2 barb/212ed/Max dam-lvl/7%ll).

I used a Bonesnap for norm, and Bloodtree got me all the way through NM and for a few levels, Windhammer. Since most of the IK set is equipable mid-level, you get alot of bonus mods to help out with weapon damage etc.

The early stages of norm was any sword weap I could get my hands on.
