i think they are pretty cool for staves. but almost all sorcs uses shield, so i am not sure about the actual price for one.

All of them are very cheap except for the ones with high %s. I find a elemental druid to be the best char to use one on personally.

I just want one to use as a prebuff on my druid. When you say high %s, what do you mean? What are the variable mods?
