Question about cryptic sword

I have found recently a cryptic etehreal sword in cowrun. And i wanna know if it is any use of it to make botd, and even if i get 6 sock, woudnt be still better a CB or BA? Maybe it swing faster but ......,,, or not ???Am i wrong ?

I'm fairly sure a cryptic swords max sockets are 4.

A cryptic sword can only get 4 sockets, no botd. It is faster, but has a lower avg dmg than both cb and ba.

if you get 3 sockets you can make a nice crescent moon for a furysin :)
