im makign a defiant smiter duh

this si my proposed build

max defiance
max hs
max smite
10 each resist aura
1 med
1 vigor
i was thinking 1 fanat so i can use like a spb against casters or something?

gear
cham shako
upd hoz/ss
beast caddy/spb
dungoes
2x bk
maras
gores
bloodfists
stone archon/Gul GA/enigma
charge switch: cold resist shield + cruel zerker of + 32 max (forgot name)

how would that look?

suggetions are welcome

Good idea on the resists but the fanat is more important than the smite if you want to boost your damage plus it will help with your spb.

For opponents who require AR to hit: Barbs, melee druids, etc,....

But melee shouldn't be a problem for a smiter anyway. Only melee that would give problems is ww barb (sometimes ww sin). Max defiance wouldn't change anything. This suggested build has less damage too mind you.

I was thinking of this build before and it would be good to try vs ww barb with high life. The damage would be from open wounds using a malice war axe for range 3. 10 x defensive charms with life and etheral armor and head gear setup with a stormshield for dr. I never pursue this build because I didn't have enough defensive charms with high life.
