View Full Version : Eth Titans or Tstrokes for cow javazon?

i'm guessing that the majority of the dmg done through lightning fury will be lightning so would tstrokes be better mainly for the -15 light res? The 15ias also makes it easy to hit the 52ias break point (inc. gloves+ammy). I've never used tstrokes so i would like to hear from people that have used both in cow runs.

Waste of Tstrokes imho, especially as the lack of replenish means that you have to get the repaired more often, and/or have a second Javelin on switch. You don't need uber gear to kill cows, and i'd say leave the TS's to pvp.

Well, cowing, you'll end up shooting a lot of javs and eth titans can't be repaired for a fast refill of titans.

I'd go with just regular titans because physical damage is negeligible for a LF zon.

Thanks for the suggestions about using non-eth titans which makes a lot of sense especially when doing cow runs, but i'm looking for optimum killing speed, disregarding the fact that i have to repair tstrokes more often would tstrokes kill faster than titans? I'm guessing that they would due to the extra lightning damage and -15 res but is the difference actually noticable?

Personally i find titans quicker, the +2 P&M and the extra r/w make the difference imo.

I would imagine etheral upgraded titans would be ideal but thats just me.

So far on ladder I am fortunate to have 196%ed and 198%ed upgraded titans. :D

For LF that is purely lite dmg and considering its a pvm char, non-eth titans are the best option. Speed-wise (repairablilty/replenish/r/w) and cost-wise they are the best choice. Tstrokes may kill faster, but not noticibly, because with maxed synergies and high pierce, cows will drop quick regarldess.
